Mirror, Mirror, On The Wall

“Mirror, Mirror on the wall, who’s the prettiest of them
all?” 

Maybe you remember this from “Snow White”…  If you had a mirror that could speak, what
would it say to you?  Would it say you’re
the smartest, most creative, prettiest, sexiest, richest, or talented of them
all?  Or would it scream those dark
thoughts you have about yourself?  You
know like, you’re the ugliest, dumbest, fattest, stupidest and weakest of them
all? 

There’s an  irony with
the mirror in Snow White,  it was a compulsive
liar…  Whether it lied because of fear of
being broken, daily it lied to the Queen by telling her the things she needed
to hear in order to make throughout the day. 
Some of you stand in front of this same mirror every morning and the
voice you are hearing is yours, and just like the mirror, you’re telling lies…  You’re speaking doubt, fear, and pain and
hurt which is causing you to struggle throughout the day…    The
voice is saying “you’re stupid”, “you’re fat”, “you’re ugly”, “you’re nothing”
and so many other lies…  Just like the
Queen, you believe the mirror, but you’re struggling through your day…

The truth is…  You
have to speak and know what’s inside of you, even when you don’t see it…  Many of you struggle with saying positive
affirmations…   You believe it’s crazy, shows weakness, and
border lines you to a psyche ward…   But positive affirmations are prophesies…  They speak what is unseen, what is to come,
and what you are to be…  Positive
affirmations are the truth of what God created you to be…  They crush and kill the lies of the enemy and
bring life into a dying world. Maybe your mirror Is speaking what you’ve told
it, but it’s time you start telling it the truth…  Instead of waiting for the voice to speak to
you, you speak to it…  Tell it all the
things you are destined to be even when you don’t feel, see, or know how it
will be…  Start today speaking the truth
and stop listening to the lies of the mirror….
