There was a time when all and only ‘SIKHS’ were treated as terrorists or intimidated with suspicion.
The indian airport used to be a pleasant place when it came going through security
if you were not SIKH or hadn’t turban on your head. While those times were good for non-sikhs,
they weren’t for me and others who like me had the misfortune — speaking only in terms of going through ‘airport security’ — of being SIKH.
Explaining these ‘racial profiling’ to the kids was greatest challenge back then!

While those times gradually healed but did leave a scar on minority SIKHS, how come world
has become too oblivious to the sufferings of one minority community?
However, by comparison being under vague BLACKLIST is by far worse than TSA – Total Sexual Assault but
we are all together and everyone is on the same boat.
In the end, I feel that we ‘THE PEOPLE‘ need to understand and ask, in life there are always some
give-n-takes, if current TSA process violates citizens privacy but in return guarantee ‘Total Safety‘ would it be price-too-big?
