Ahh more NRA smoke and mirrors. Lets get everyone to argue about the definition of an assault weapon.
Lets get straight to the facts. A 20 year old kid had a rifle that was useless for hunting deer and which could fire 60 high velocity rounds in about 2 minute without the need to reload. If this kid only had a six shooter he you have to reload 10 times for that amount of shots. He would have been taken down by staff while reloading and maybe most if the kids would have survived to play with their toys on christmas morning. I know I’m wasting my time explaining the simple truth to gun nuts but I won’t stand by while you spread diversionary and misleading information about the internet. I dont care if you call it an assault rifle, a pee shooter or as I suspect an penis extension for the serially impotent, a gun that fires more than 6 shots is not required for personal protection. Anyone who says otherwise is a liar.
An assault rifle is a select fire weapon like what the government troops carry. Anyway load any weapon and place it on the ground and watch what it does. If left undisturbed it will not do anything because it is an inanimate object. People kill people and if they are hell bent on doing that anything can be used to that end. Don’t fall for the propoganda and forfeit your constitutional rights. The founding fathers gave everything they had to construct the constitution only to watch these last few generations squander it all.
dear puffnstuff, by your argument you suggest people should stay away from guns, as guns are just innocently a sitting there til people come along. Now excuse me but that is what a those people who want to ban them say too. Well argued son.
