Apparently the only thing stopping the Boston Marathon Bombers from heading to New York’s Time Square was they were low on gas.
New York Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said Dzhokhar Tsarnaev told interrogators from his hospital bed that he and his older brother decided on the spot last Thursday night (local time) to drive to New York and launch an attack. In their carjacked SUV they had five pipe bombs and a pressure-cooker explosive like the ones that blew up at the marathon, Kelly said.
The Tsarnaev brothers plan fell through when they stopped for gas on the outskirts of Boston and the victim or the carjacking, who they were apparently holding hostage escaped and called police. It was later that night 26 year old Tamerlan Tsarnaev lost his life.
“We don’t know if we would have been able to stop the terrorists had they arrived here from Boston,” Bloomberg said. “We’re just thankful that we didn’t have to find out that answer.”
Even though New Yorkers shuddered when they heard this, and at the same time breathed a sigh of relief that it didn’t happen, would the brothers really of managed to make it there? At that stage they were the two most wanted men in the world. Are authorities making a mountain out of mole hill with this supposed attack on Times Square?
Dzhokhar, 19, is charged with carrying out the Boston Marathon bombing April 15 that killed three people and wounded more than 260, and he could get the death penalty. Christina DiIorio-Sterling, a spokeswoman for US Attorney Carmen Ortiz in Boston, would not comment on whether authorities plan to add charges based on the alleged plot to attack New York.
Bloomberg was told of the supposed plot on Wednesday night by a task force investigating the Boston bombing. When asked about the delay, Bloomberg said: “There’s no reason to think the FBI hides anything. The FBI does what they think is appropriate at the time, and you’ll have to ask them what they found and what the actual details of the interrogation were. We were not there.”

I believe this is made up to panic us. If I was a terrorist and planned to bomb Times Square, that would have been my debut. Certainly not Boston. Makes no sense.
Well the problem here is the fact Bloomberg (Jewberg) is just jumping on the security bandwagon to ramp up the fear so he can “protect” the population.
