~DID I IMAGINE or DID I SEE ~Eileen Coleman~

Many years ago in the early 90′s I started to sit in meditation with a dear friend in England, and among our guides and inspirers there were North American Indians.  My friend had ‘Crazy Horse’ with her and ‘Sitting Bull’ came and spoke with us too.  When my first Indian guide presented himself I saw him in the clouds smiling at me and wrote a poem about it.  I think his name was Sky Hawk but wasn’t sure.  As the years went on an older Indian often spoke with me and I called him Grandfather.  Many years ago he gave me a silver ring during meditation, which he said symbolised our love and I was led to a shop which had the identical ring in a charity shop and I bought it for just £1.00.

This is the poem I wrote way back then - it seems so long ago now.

Did I Imagine or did I See

Is it them or is it me – did I imagine or did I see

Was that a tingle on my brow from those in spirit or the here and now

Was that an Eagle in the sky or just the formation of clouds going by

Was that a guide smiling at me or did I imagine what I’d hoped I’d see

Oh dear Lord I want to learn, please oh when will it be my turn

I’ve been so patient and of late have felt there wasn’t long to wait

But just when I think I’m almost there - the vision fades from my searching stare

Please give me the wisdom to understand those who are helping in the Summerland

They must be just as frustrated as me waiting and hoping for me to break free

To shed my troubles worries and strife to reach through the barrier that keeps us from life

For it is not death that keeps us apart only the worries that weigh down a heart

and I know when I learn to communicate there will be such joy at those golden gates

my friends and family will all rejoice when at last I’ve found my spiritual voice.
