The Israeli military began deploying hundreds of troops in cities across the country on Wednesday to assist police forces in countering a wave of deadly Palestinian shooting and stabbing attacks that have created panic across the country.

Escalating violence in Israel has many living in fear, as Palestinians have launched violent attacks in recent weeks against civilians and soldiers. Israel is taking new action to counter increasing violence from Palestinians. The military has deployed Israeli soldiers and set up roadblocks, but knife attacks against troops and civilians continue.
