Decapitated Boy on Park Waterslide Horrifies Witesses!
People who witnessed the son of a Kansas state lawmaker die on the world’s largest water slide are sharing stories of the horrific day.
Last Sunday, Caleb Thomas Schwab, the 10-year-old son of Kansas state Rep. Scott Schwab died while riding the Verruckt, a 168-foot-tall water slide, at Schlitterbahn Waterpark in Kansas City, Kansas.
“When I heard a noise that didn’t sound like it was supposed to come from that kind of ride, that’s when I turned around,” park-goers Jess Sanford told CNN.
“I didn’t understand what was going on so I only saw Caleb sliding down the last half of the slide, and then I saw the blood,” she continued. “I think they kind of realized that he was dead, so I don’t think they tried to revive him.”
ABC reported on Steve Castaneda, a registered nurse, said he saw the incident happening and ran to help. Warning: The video is upsetting.

Google “Accident Park”; You can see the wikipedia description and than there’s some stuff on youtube. I went there in the late 80′s and left early because the rides were too aggressive to be safe; almost fell out of a few. They had kids monitoring the rides. Not that it’s such a bad thing but the kids were always runnin’ out on break to get stoned.
Man, I thought all this sh!t was under strict regulation since then. You’ve gotta be blind not to see that “Verruckt”, which sounds too much like “F**k*d”, is potentially unsafe.

You can see how flimsy the sling to hold them in was. They should be strapped in like an astronaut! I rode one of these type of slide when a kid. You FLY OFF the humps and are air-launched if you go too fast and lose control.
It’s a shame it happened to a child… it SHOULD have been the father of the child in this case.
