The crowdfunding campaign to make a documentary about Saving Syria’s Children has been launched!

Here’s the Indiegogo platform – as you’ll see, actor Keith Allen is fronting the campaign, which is a massive asset!

This is a preliminary email to those who have supported this project along the way, prior to the full campaign launch on Tuesday.

Firstly thank you for everything you have done to raise awareness of this issue. Every retweet has helped, and many of you have done a great deal more. Thank you too for all your support personally.

Secondly, the aim of this “soft launch” is of course to try and get some way – ideally 30% – towards the £70,000 target before the full launch. It’s a big incentive to potential contributors to see that progress towards the goal is well underway.

I have naturally set the ball rolling, to the tune of £1,000. Anything you can contribute will really help at this stage. Please note that this is a fixed goal campaign, which means that if we don’t reach the full £70k by the deadline the film won’t be made.

Please do share this email now with anyone who you think may like to support the project so that we can raise as much as possible before Tuesday. However please don’t share the crowdfunding platform on social media until then – I will include you all in another email announcing the “official” launch, at which point I will indeed be extremely grateful if you would share it fare and wide on Twitter, Facebook etc.
