AZ House Speaker Rusty Bowers: Pomposity misses the mark

Watching the pompous testimony of Arizona House Speaker Russell “Rusty” Bowers (R-LD 25) as he deferentially danced to the tune played by democrat Adam Schiff’s Jan. 6 Capitol Riot Committee, required a strong stomach. PBS and CNN use the incendiary term, “insurrection.”

The hearings have been widely criticized as biased, since the committee’s members are selected by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).

Bowers, a nominal Republican all but kissed Schiff’s [shoes] as he vilified President Trump and others in the administration, while bowing and scraping to Schiff and claiming Trump was the driving force behind efforts to nullify Biden votes — despite Bowers publicly whining about the public outrage. He alleged, “We received in excess of 20,000 emails and tens of thousands of voice mails and texts, which saturated our offices and we were unable to work, at least communicate.”    

Unlike most others in the state legislature, Bowers contact page curiously omits any biographical information about this turncoat…all too eager to throw Pres. Trump, conservative lawmakers and Arizona voters who support the former president, under the political bus. Breitbart News’ previous coverage headlined, “BUSTED: Adam Schiff Appears to Fake Evidence in Text Messages at January 6 Committee,”which provided compelling evidence regarding the fakery.

The Federalist posted, “If Dems Were Serious, Adam Schiff Wouldn’t Be On Jan. 6 Committee.”

Truth exists, though it is buried beneath a mountain of anti-Trump propaganda. Bowers, termed out as one of the key RINOS in stonewalling Arizona’s certification of the 2020 election, has recently filed to run for an Arizona State Senate seat. Vacillating back and forth between the two chambers is easier than finding a private sector job at age 70. Before he morphed into a career politician, initially elected to the Arizona House of Representatives in 1992, he was a sculptor and artist, which is a tough way to support a family of 9, including 7 kids. Selling out is easier.
