What fight is she talking about that people ill be tricking into avoiding? What kind of fight? Jesus said that if His kingdom was of this world, THEN His servants would fight. But it is not! Our warfare as Christians IS NOT against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers in the heavenly places, the spiritual realms which affect the earthly realm.
We know the world will not be destroyed by nuclear holocaust because Jesus said His return would prevent all flesh from being destroyed, otherwise it would perish by the destruction in Revelation.
His will IS done on earth even when He allows catastrophic events. Remember the FLOOD that wiped out humanity except for Noah and his family? He saved Noah out of the flood which lifted them above the waters and Enoch out of the world before the flood. The rapture is true according the the Bible in 1 Corinthians 15 & 1 Thess. end of 4 into 5.
The church is not under the Mosaic law to keep festivals and rituals and harvests. They were a shadow of things which were to come. Christ is the realization, fulfillment of them. Colossians 2:16,17-feast days, holy days. etc. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, taking our condemnation upon Himself.
