Got a Mystery You Want Remote Viewed? Submit Your Own Target FREE to Project Obsidian’s Experienced RV Team
Have you ever had a mystery, future event, historical question, geopolitical situation, or unexplained phenomenon that you wished an experienced team of remote viewers would investigate?
Now you can actually submit one.
Sean Patrick Hazlett, host of Through A Glass Darkly, has launched Project Obsidian, a new remote viewing project featuring experienced HRVG remote viewers Brian Boodhoo, Evan, and Remote Viewer X, also known as Derek.
One of the most interesting things about Project Obsidian is that anyone can join at the Seeker level for FREE and submit a target idea. Sean chooses which submitted targets the team will ultimately work, so there is no guarantee that every submission will be selected. But if you have a serious and interesting target you’ve always wanted remote viewed, this gives you an opportunity to put it in front of an experienced team.
The viewers aren’t told what they’re viewing. According to the Project Obsidian launch discussion, Sean acts as the targeteer and the viewers receive an alphanumeric target identifier rather than being told the nature of the target. They conduct their sessions independently and return their data for analysis. This helps reduce the possibility of the viewers consciously constructing information around something they already know.
The team brings considerable remote viewing experience. Derek says he has approximately 24 years of experience and has worked thousands of targets. He was trained in HRVG methodology while living in Honolulu and is also a former member of the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division.
Brian became seriously involved with remote viewing in 2020 and formally trained in HRVG beginning in 2021 after earlier exposure to Technical Remote Viewing. His training has included work with Primavera Menor and longtime HRVG figure Glenn Wheaton.
Evan became interested in remote viewing around 2015 and began formal HRVG training in 2023. Brian and Evan have worked together for several years.
All four members of the Project Obsidian operation—including Sean—are military veterans, although they are not claiming to have served as military remote viewers.
The three viewers have also worked with the Future Forecasting Group. Project Obsidian, however, is intended to explore a broader range of targets, including geopolitical and other consequential subjects.
The plan discussed during the launch was to conduct roughly three target projects each month, along with a recurring 90-Day Scry examining approximately the coming three months.
That prospective aspect could become particularly interesting.
Instead of simply remote viewing historical mysteries where everyone already knows what happened, future targets can eventually receive real-world feedback. Sessions can be preserved before an event occurs and later compared with what actually happened. Over time, that gives people something much more useful to examine: a track record.
Did independent viewers describe similar things? Did those things actually happen? What did they get right? What did they get wrong?
Project Obsidian also intends to make different levels of project material available through its Patreon, with higher membership levels providing greater access to project videos, analysis and, at some levels, underlying viewer data.
But you don’t have to pay anything to submit a target idea.
Join Project Obsidian at the Seeker level, which is FREE, and you can submit a target for Sean to consider.

Project Obsidian is still very new, which makes this an especially interesting time to follow it. The team now has an opportunity to build a public body of work that can be evaluated as feedback becomes available.
And the community gets to participate by supplying some of the targets.
If you could have an experienced remote viewing team investigate one target, what would it be?
Think of a good one.
Then send it to Project Obsidian.
