NC: Raleigh - Armed Robbery Turns to Gunfight, Victim Shoots, Kills 1 of 2 Suspects
During the attempted robbery, the intended victim tried to drive away as shots were fired at him but lost control of his car and crashed.
He then got out of the car and returned fire before leaving the area. Police used K-9 officers and drones in a search for a shooting suspect. More than a dozen evidence markers were scattered across the road.
When officers arrived, they found Christopher Peart dead. Christian Peart was there but was not injured.
