There’s a good deal of debate amongst experts concerning whether pets should eat human food at all. On alternating days, it’s important to also add one half of a large egg per half cup of food to one daily meal to provide ample protein into their diet. You might find that cats prefer the eggs cooked before adding to meat/veggie mix.

On days that you don’t feed them egg, it’s important to add .9 oz. of sardines or cooked salmon per half cup of the cat food recipes. This provides them with ample fatty acids and Vitamin D required for a complete diet.
