This little tree and water oil painting was inspired by the painting that I had accepted to the Oil Painters of America National Show in Fredericksburg, TX.
I kept the composition simple with just a few shapes, the tree, mountain, water and field. Oh, and sky, that’s a shape too. Each shape should be different in size and value to make it interesting. I’m always a sucker for the water meandering through a field. The painting is varnished and ready to frame or place on a small easel. I offer free shipping in the US.
The Celebration of Fine Art closed yesterday. We started tearing down last night after the show. Then finished up today. I’m now slowly starting to put my studio back together. So many things to put away, what a mess. I also have a lot of computer and paperwork to catch up on. Then the dreaded taxes to come!
