"Flying Saucer" Crash Crushes Car
A passenger car was crushed after an architectural office, shaped like a flying saucer, located in Feira de Santana, Brazil, crashed and hit the vehicle. The incident happened in the early hours of Friday, January 18, and calls attention to popular passing on site. No injuries were reported.
According to the site Acorda City, the property belongs to the Peruvian architect Gabriel Torres Vega, who explained that the property had not been occupied for about three years.
The wreck of the ‘flying saucer’ was removed from the place later on Friday.
The building had been a well known landmark in the neighborhood of Muchila for over 30 years. Residents are heartbroken by this event, and many have mourned the loss of this house shaped like a flying saucer, also because it was a symbol of this area and many remember him since childhood. The disk-shaped office has always attracted much attention of people, especially children.
