Story update.  Yes the gunman was killed by the police that night.  Judge Jury, and Executioner.  Also shot were the 3 hostages.  BUT they don’t say how the hostages were shot.  By the gunman or by the police.  My suspecions it was the police.  Because if it were the gunman, they would be emphasising this FACT.  Kind of like a Drone attack, going for the terrorist and innocent people get killed too.  

The gunman’s family had a convience store across the street.  AND wouldn’t you know, they are from an Middle eastern decent.

A gunman has reportedly taken at least three people hostage at a bank in St. Joseph, Louisiana, a small town of barely 1,000 people that straddles the state’s border with the Mississippi River.

The Associated Press reports that an unknown man armed with some type of automatic weapon entered the Tensas State Bank in St. Joseph Tuesday afternoon and took three employees hostage, according to Louisiana State Police Superintendent Mike Edmonson.

“At this point, we don’t know if the suspect was trying to commit a robbery,” Tensas Parish Sheriff’s Office Chief Civil Deputy Neeci Gregory tells The News Star.

The employees are handcuffed inside the building and held at gunpoint according to Concordia Parish Sheriff Kenneth Hedrick, who dispatched officers to the scene and spoke with the Mississippi Natchez Democrat. Authorities said no shots were fired and no injuries have been reported at the scene. 

Louisiana state police have arrested a man for breaking through a police barrier and attempting to gain entry to the bank. They said he was not detained in connection with the hostage situation but is the brother of the suspect inside.  

The names of the hostages have not been released, although multiple outlets report two women and one man have been held for over two hours.

A bomb squad and SWAT team are also on hand, where approximately 100 state and regional law enforcement vehicles have assembled. The LSP told KNOE that a five mile flight restriction zone was instituted over the bank. Whether the suspect armed with an explosive device is unknown. 

The situation is still developing, but the AP says the Federal Bureau of Investigation is on the scene, as is as a negotiator with the state police.

Local media reports that the blinds are limiting visibly from outside the bank and the windows are bulletproof. 

Sixth District Attorney Jim Paxton added to the paper that much of the town has been blocked off by law enforcement. According to the 2010 Census, St. Joseph has a population of around 1,176.

Law enforcement officials have assembled construction lights anticipating negotiations will proceed into the night.

Police in nearby Eunice, Louisiana are investigating another robbery at Basile State Bank earlier Tuesday at around 10 AM local time. Whether the two crimes are related is unknown, although investigators say the suspect – described as a Hispanic male wearing dark clothing and a bandanna over his face – made away with an undisclosed amount of money. They were unaware if he was armed. 

The banks are separated by approximately 150 miles.

My commentary:  I have been wondering where are today’s Bonnie and Clyde’s.  The Robin Hoods.  You would think that this a more frequent occurrence.  This was popular in the 30′s to robbing banks.  Some of these folklore heroes of our past have been forgotten.  I would of thought  more poverty stricken persons would of tried to rob banks.  I would of thought that more people who had their houses repossessed would of engaged in this kind of activity.  I would  think that this is going on and the Presstitutes Media are keeping this kind of news out of the headlines.  Preventing and afraid that  this could  be contagious among the victims of the Bank$ters.  

I do feel sorry that this happened to a small town bank.  

I feel sorry for the gunman.  He will be killed by the police or FBI.  Today’s justice involves the police and FBI taking the role of judge,  jury and executioner, and give him the death sentence.  ON THE SPOT.
