An anonymous letter to our great President Obama
Dear Mr. President Obama (and Filter Readers)
As you know I’ve written so many times before but you just don’t let my emails get to the President’s desk as one of the ten emails he reads every day.
I’m scared very as I’ve told you many times before my husband who was in the military 101st airborne then Special Forces opts during the Viet Nam war and came home to become a NY policeman.
Left this great job to go to work with his friend in 1/72 as the CEO of the company till April 2011 then let go because of health and yes age he was approaching his 70th birthday. If you have read all my emails you know all this and more so much more.
I have a law suit that I will lose because he is too sick to go back. But they were friends from the early 60’s he gave up his life to help start a business with this man now to be thrown under the bus. So no corporation is not people too.
I’m so scared I’m going to lose my home I bought because I moved into it relocated here in a place I hate 10yrs ago for this is where his job was. Now without a job we can’t afford the mortgage or any of our bills.
We filed for bankrupts October 26, 2011 we haven’t paid our mortgage in two months now. We’re looking to move back to NY and have put our home up for sale knowing it won’t sell unless in a short sale or foreclosure.
I’ve written to you many times knowing you never read my emails it would be as winning a lottery for my email to be one of the ten you read every day.
But now I’m trying to figure out how to relive in a car how to make it work with a man that is so sick with a serious heart condition plus so much more. As I am disable myself knowing well I’ve live in a car from a child I will try to do it once again.
I just don’t get it when you finally make it to middle class you get thrown back under a bus and worst. There is no hope for people in this country unless you’re born with a silver spoon in your mouth.
People like me and my husband who served his country proud have no safety net we get to sleep in a car very soon this will be because there are no places according to our low income without a waiting list for us to find a home to call our own again.
After we put all we had into this home we now will lose all everything we believed in the American dream is gone no more hope for us were just seniors waiting to die as we cry.
Please filter readers let this email get to my President and all the others I sent or please give me one chance to speak to him as I donated my last 35.00 to have dinner with him as one of the 99% people I need him to know my story the truth of life the real people live not just the wealth or people that have great jobs with security under them. But people as me who have nothing and are so scared knowing they will go backward to that car as their home once again.
