Where Our Oil Comes From Are We Being Scammed @ The Pump

You can ask yourself why the price of gas, crude oil, food, plastics are increasing in this time with the up rise of the middle east, some would have you believe it’s because our oil comes from there. But in actuality most doesn’t come to the USA the oil in the Middle East is to fuel American companies in Asia and Europe. I know this because my dad who was a merchant marine sail around this world on oil tankers three times and yes was mostly in the Middle East delivering the oil to these countries.

Our oil that we get is from Alaska,Venezuela, Canada, Gulf of Mexico, the only time you would have it come from the Middle East is when the oil tanker would be returning back to the USA, otherwise it wouldn’t be to cost effective to bring it through the Suez canal and across the Atlantic ocean.

The energy policy of the United States is determined by federal, state and local public entities in the United States, which address issues of energy production, distribution, and consumption, such as building codes and gas mileage standards. Energy policy may include legislation, international treaties, subsidies and incentives to investment, guidelines for energy conservation, taxation and other public policy techniques.

US oil reserves increased until 1970, and then began to decline. By 1950, oil consumption exceeded that of coal. The abundance of oil in California, Texas, Oklahoma, as well as in Canada and Mexico, coupled with its low cost, ease of transportation, high energy density, and use in internal combustion engines, lead to its increasing use. Following World War II, oil heating boilers took over from coal burners along the Eastern Seaboard; diesel locomotives took over from coal-fired steam engines under dieselization; oil-fired electricity plants were built; petroleum-burning buses replaced electric streetcars in a GM driven conspiracy, for which they were found guilty, and citizens bought gasoline powered cars. Interstate Highways helped make cars the major means of personal transportation. As oil imports increased, US foreign policy was inexorably drawn into Middle East politics, supporting oil-producing Saudi Arabia and patrolling the sea lanes of the Persian Gulf

In the United States, oil is primarily consumed as fuel for cars, buses, trucks and airplanes in the form of gasoline, diesel and jet fuel. Two-thirds of U.S. oil consumption is in the transportation sector. The US – an important export country for food stocks – will convert 18% of its grain output to ethanol in 2008. Across the US, 25% of the whole corn crop went to ethanol in 2007. The percentage of corn going to biofuel is expected to go up. In 2006, U.S. Senators introduced the Biofuels Security Act.

The proposal has been made for a hydrogen economy, where cars and factories are powered by fuel cells, although the hydrogen would still have to be produced at an energy cost, and hydrogen cars have been called one of the least efficient, most expensive ways to reduce greenhouse gases. Other plans include making society carbon neutral and using renewable energy, including solar, wind and methane sources.

Almost all of Canada’s energy exports go to the United States, making it the largest foreign source of U.S. energy imports: Canada is the top source of U.S. oil imports, and it is the largest source of U.S. natural gas and electricity imports.

So in conclusion problems associated with oil supply include volatile oil prices, increasing world and domestic petroleum product demand, dependence on unstable imported foreign oil, falling domestic production peak oil, and declining infrastructure, like the Alaska pipeline and oil refineries.

American dependence on imports grew from 10% in 1970 to 65% by the end of 2004. At the current rate of unchecked import growth, the US would be 70% to 75% reliant on foreign oil by the middle of the next decade.

But as we know all CEO’s do give themselves extremely large bonuses, and the American people are the ones who suffer in the cost of all this war games of oil, since you need crude oil to make many things in our everyday life ..

Bottom line is the consumer being the people not the top paid in oil corporations as Halliburton, Shell, Exon, and Mobile ETC. are the ones being scammed to pay the higher prices when there is no shortage at the pump or in the USA

Has anyone ever questioned why the oil never runs out? Oh sure, wells go dry alot… but many are “REOPENED” later and pumped again. SO… WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU?

      Choices: (Choose One)
      1. More dinosaurs were born & died to refill that well.
      2. The Earth cooks up this stuff from biological matter and refills the wells.

      Considerations:
      A. If you answered “1″, you are a good little student of propaganda & our media/school system.
      B. If you answered “2″, you are a good student of science. If the Earth keeps cooking up oil… where’s the shortage coming from? HINT: Oil shortages are manmade… not natural.

QUESTION: How much of your life energy (converted to dirty cash) are you willing to keep giving these oil scam artists?

      Just a thought…
