John  Bujac , former  Canyon County Prosecutor at  ‘it’  Again!

   It took nearly a year for Felony Charges to be brought against former Canyon County Prosecutor John “good old boy’  Bujac.  This shining example of the Republican Party in Idaho was also a member of the Idaho Bar Association, i.e. , a Lawyer, and he just happened to misappropriate somewhere in the area of $300,000.00 of the County’s funds . After he was removed from office he

proceeded to file  for Bankruptcy.  He seems to have forgotten to report large amounts of cash and other assets to the Court.  This  information was provided by Pepper Bujac, in the form of an Affidavit.  There were questions regarding a Rolex watch, which were evidently decided in his favor, otherwise Bujac would surely have been jailed for perjury and contempt of Court.  Do you get a small taste of Sarcasm there?  (Anyone else who steals County funds and uses them to pay personal bills would be sitting South of Boise in the State Prison.)

    The investigation took too long, and people in the community must have been pleased to see justice finally being meted out to this Criminal/Lawyer/Republican, and Canyon County Prosecutor. How ironic, that  the man who had the duty to lock up criminals for offenses against the people of Idaho was himself laughing all the way to the bank with the public funds he was stealing!  Then , as a slap in the face to every citizen, a sweetheart deal was cut in which the felony charges  were to be lowered to misdamenor charges. Amazing how  felonies seem to vanish when you are a part of the Republican network of good old boys. ( Former Senator John McGee stole a truck and had Grand Theft Auto Charges vanish magically in Ada County.) Now there are allegations that Bujac sent a letter saying he had permission to use the Counties funds to pay his personal bills, addressed  from a person who was dead, and could not have written the letter. Now that is a prime example of criminal thinking at its best. That is also more fraud, and falsifying evidence, and tampering with evidence. This seeming lack of integrity on the part of Bujac begs the question, How many of the cases that our ‘Mr. Law and Order’ Bujac prosecuted had similar evidentiary problems? Perhaps this Lawyer with no moral restraints on his personal life, used the same criminal thinking to insure convictions in cases he prosecuted.

  I am amazed that this violator of the public trust is still walking the streets of Nampa/Caldwell, Idaho, instead of sitting behind the bars he helped put others behind. I think a full investigation should be conducted to re-examine each and every case he prosecuted for evidence tampering or some other criminal mischief  which Bujac seems so capable of.  Behavior which seems to be re-occurring with Bujac.  Behavior from a man in a position to wrongfully convict someone if he so desired. A lack of integrity  in one area of a person’s life has a way of spilling over into every other area. His job performance could have compromised the process of fair and impartial Court proceedings  in every case  he prosecuted.

This criminal should be locked up quickly, before he can harm any other citizens. If you step in something squishy and suddenly smell a rather unpleasant  aroma rising to greet your nose, you generally need to look at the bottom of your shoe. I am reasonably positive you will find you stepped in something other than flowers.
