Time to fly the banner of PEACE

It’s TIME! Archeological and historic sites are being destroyed by warring factions, it is my opinion that we, the people of the Earth, should fly a global Banner of PEACE.

  This banner of peace, shall be be flown during times of destruction. So states the Roerich Pact. Also stated in the pact, is, where this banner of peace is flown shall be be protected.  

(From Wikipedia, in case you are not aware of the Roerich Pact states): The Treaty on the Protection of Artistic and Scientific Institutions and Historic Monuments or Roerich Pact is an inter-American treaty. The most important idea of the Roerich Pact is the legal recognition that the defense of cultural objects is more important than the use or destruction of that culture for military purposes, and the protection of culture always has precedence over any military necessity.

So in the event of historical loss of cultural importance, this banner shall be waved, acknowledged and protected. This pact is unfortunately unrecognized by international law. 

Our world is losing great number of historical monuments: Syra, Iraq and All across the globe. Due to WAR, DEFORESTATION, GLOBAL CLIMATE CHANGE, AND DESTRUCTIVE CORPORATE INTERESTS.

 I purposed we fly a global banner of peace, as was done in 1997 by the Russian cosmonaut Paul Vinogradov who flew the banner in space aboard the MIR space Station,  his words “We have raised the banner of peace over the Earth in order that a space of culture excludes the space of war and animosity forever. We call all the peoples and nations to building of new spiritual, scientific and artistic cooperation.”
