Hurricane Dorian: How a Man Made Hurricane Turned Into a Government Land Grab of the Abaco Islands

In January 2018 Bahamian Prime Minister Dr. Hubert Minnis addressed the 73rd Session of the United Nations and spoke about how during the previous year (2017) Hurricane Irma he declared a mandatory evacuation of the sparsely populated south eastern islands of the Bahamas and how he saved lives because no one died during Irma which – at the time – was a Monster Category Five Storm. The hurricane eventually skimmed by Nassau and eventually caused massive destruction on nearby Barbuda Island. I ask in this video why Dr. Minnis did NOT evacuate the north eastern islands of  Grand Bahamas and Abaco. He also tells the United Nation in that speech from 2018 that climate change is the reason why we are facing such hurricanes and he welcomes the UN’s Climate Change Summit that is scheduled for September 2019. I find it ironic and by NO coincidence that 20 month’s later Hurricane Dorian wipes out the Abaco Islands and next Monday – September 23rd – the United Nations is hosting the Climate Action Summit and no doubt Dr. Hubert Minnis will be invited (again) to speak before the summit and I will be watching for the rhetoric that comes out of this summit. We are in a major pole shift right now and that is why the weather is all screwed up. Climate Change has nothing to do with it. Mother Nature is NOT happy and neither am I. 

As I researched and look into the tragedy that has become of the Abaco Islands in the Bahamas what is becoming more clearer by the minute is how the man made and steered storm, tornado, hurricane or what ever you may want to call it was all planned out to clear the North and South Abaco Islands of the Bahamas of their migrant and apparently vagrant and unwanted Haitian refugees and immigrants so that the government of the Bahamas could outsource this rich and vast property to developers. In the mid 2000′s the Bahamian government started to look at the shanty towns of both the Grand Bahamas and the Abaco Islands and recognized that the majority of these communities were living in squalor and barely having the necessities of life to survive. Instead of helping these Shanty Towns  build solid local infrastructure the government decided to raze (demolish) the communities Shanty Town communities and relocate over 1,000 residents. Of course there was residence within the communities, but the government was determined that the mostly Haitian residents leave the Abaco Islands and resettle on the mainland of the Bahamas. They were given an ultimatum to leave the islands by July 31st, 2019 (this year). They filed a court injunction asking that the government cease and desist in ‘razing’ their community and in August 2018 they were granted this immunity and the Bahamian government had to delay the ‘demolition’ of their community for the time being. July 31st came and went, but two months later Hurricane Dorian arrived and did the governments dirty work by permanently ‘evicting’ the residents of Abaco Island.
