Why Minnesota Does Not Want You to Know about Prince’s Death

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

April 21, 2016, a date Minnesotans will not forget and a date the music industry will not forget.  The talented Prince passed away in his home in Chanhassen, Minnesota.  Presently, his death is still under investigation with many rumors flying rabid.

Prince was not only a music legend; he was a self-taught musician and producer, and a generous philanthropist.   Surely, if you visit the state of Minnesota, or even speak to a native Minnesotan, you will hear countless stories of personal ties to the legend himself and what a quiet and loving person he was.

On April 15th, the late Prince was hospitalized in Illinois, rumors suggest the hospitalization involved a Percocet overdose.  Some sources even indicate Prince was administered a “save shot”, supposedly given to an individual who may have overdosed on opioid medication.

Soon after Prince was treated at the hospital in Illinois he was back on his plane destined to his home state, Minnesota.  Prince was found deceased in his Chanhassen home six days later.  His death is still under investigation.

There are wild rumors of a drug overdose, but those rumors have been kept quiet and the local sheriff’s office isn’t releasing much information to the public.

Interesting enough, a Minnesota lawmaker seeks to make Purple the official state color.  My question is:  What is next?  A museum in his honor?  (He is well deserving of this shrine.)  Will his beloved Paisley Park Studio be turned in to this museum?  What about all the unreleased music?  Will the state of Minnesota demand ownership over such unreleased gems?  Who knows!

The pretty and oh-so nice state of Minnesota surely would not want the masses to know Prince’s death could be attributed to a prescription overdose.  It would tarnish his name and perhaps his legacy and future net worth.

One could speculate Minnesota could monetize off of Prince’s death according to estate and inheritance laws. According to Minnesota inheritance laws, the estate of Prince will be inherited in the following order: grandchildren, parents, siblings or more distant relatives.  Prince’s parents have passed, it is unknown if he is close to his siblings and he has no living offspring.  Furthermore, Prince’s net worth is valued over $300 million, leaving the next, the State of Minnesota?   in line to decide and dish out (or fill their pockets), the good ole State of Minnesota.

Now, we could dig a bit deeper with an estate valued at over $300 million, what about all the unreleased music?  This music was never reveled or shared with the world has an exponential value.  Who would profit from that?  Would it be the undertakers of a future museum in Prince’s honor, or perhaps the State of Minnesota will hide these valuable gems and fill voids in their yearly budget deficits.  Could there be any close ties to local politicians who may step in and play a role as a quote on quote, Trustee or Executor of Prince’s estate?

So many questions to be answered.  One thing I do know, something isn’t adding up.  The lack of information being released to the public regarding his death is either to keep people focused on conspiracies regarding his demise or it could be to trigger further conspiracy theories regarding his implied and suggested messages littered in his song lyrics?  It isn’t if or when, but how.  With any opportunity the Federal and State government is given to fill their pockets, they will be sure to do so.

just another dumb idiot who killed themselves–my bro in law is a bald kinda fat trucker who has been happily married to my sis for 41 years–3 great kids doing well-7 grand kids–i wonder if the “prince” would have rather lived my bro in laws life instead of his own sorry life..doubt it..too stupid

Why do you say he died in his home when the reports say he was found in the elevator of his studio and a police officer was the one that found him? His studio wasn’t part of his home

      • RationalSkeptic

Wrong. His studio was his home.

What an absolutely useless article of dribble.

Minnesota does not have a budget deficit you Buffoon. Prince died – sometimes it is as simple as that. No crazed conspiracy by a bunch of mad hatters sitting in the state capital plotting their next nafarious move to exploit the purple one. What is next? Bumping off another musical icon (Zimmerman) from the iron range to get his lucky charms?
