Святейший Патриарх Кирилл принял участие в торжественном акте по случаю 20-летия служения на Киевской кафедре Блаженнейшего митрополита Владимира
27 июля 2012 года во дворце «Украина» в Киеве состоялся торжественный акт, посвященный 20-летию служения на Киевской кафедре Блаженнейшего митрополита Киевского и всея Украины Владимира.
В мероприятии принял участие Святейший Патриарх Московский и всея Руси Кирилл.
В зале присутствовали члены Священного Синода Русской Православной Церкви, собор иерархов из Украины, Белоруссии, России и духовенство этих стран, делегации Поместных Православных Церквей, прибывшие в Киев для участия в юбилейных торжествах, а также вице-премьер и министр социальной политики Украины С.Л. Тигипко, советник Президента Украины, руководитель Главного управления по гуманитарным и общественно-политическим вопросам Администрации Президента Украины А.Н. Герман, первый заместитель министра культуры Украины Ю.П. Богуцкий и другие государственные деятели.
Со сцены дворца «Украина» Предстоятель Русской Церкви поздравил Блаженнейшего владыку с памятной датой.
С.Л. Тигипко огласил приветствие Президента Украины В.Ф. Януковича и вручил Его Блаженству поздравительный адрес от премьер-министра Н.Я. Азарова и членов Кабинета министров Украины.
Затем к участникам собрания обратился Блаженнейший митрополит Владимир. Торжественный акт завершился праздничным концертом.
