American Church Has Committed Sins of Omission. They Have Been Complicit By Remaining Silent.

One may ask, “What American church?” Some mega-church, like Joel Osteen’s, a man who won’t but tickle ears by his own admission, with his incessant smiley face on, avoiding the whole gospel of the Bible? Dump sugar in your ears until you’ve breathed your last and drop into the apostates’ hell? Ditto the other mega-churches. We now have the concept of Chrislam. Is it Kenneth Copeland? Rick Warren? Creflo Dollar? Benny Hinn? Mike Murdock? Joyce Meyer, teaching you how to enjoy this life, with her multi-million dollar, dynastic family compound your “love offerings” largely finance? Are you looking to hear the voices of this ilk? Is it any merchandising, rotting corpse, any huckster on parade on your so-called Christian networks, who specialize in picking your pockets to buy themselves mansions, Bentleys and private planes? Is it the many, many local churches that deliver encouraging psychobabble sermons, avoiding any talk of sin, judgement and hell, Biblical creation or prophecy, the command to pursue holiness, but such topics that make up the bulk of the Bible? Consider how few are telling the whole gospel truth in the Christian media and local churches, the few who are willing to suffer the consequences of the smaller congregations, because the truth doesn’t tickle ears and make false promises of health and wealth when you “sow that seed.” There is no prosperity gospel. There is no easy believism. But the masses flock to the apostate churches! The truth, the whole gospel, doesn’t focus on seeking happiness and gain in this temporal, carnal life at all, in living for this world, even teaches that if you love this world you don’t have the love of God in you, period. That you can’t serve two masters. The truth is rather focused on the kingdom of God and eternal life, on seeking holiness in your conduct, living in contentment and humility in this world, not seeking the things of the world, knowing it’s not your home, the command to come out from among them, even expecting persecution for being truly different in your obedience to the Lord.

So, my question is what church, when the vast American church is apostate, ever growing more apostate, isn’t even in tune with the whole gospel, in the first place? I see more effort going towards apostasy like Chrislam, ecumenicism among apostates and marrying homosexuals than truth. Should we expect churches teaching a false gospel to stand for any truth? Any wonder these “churches” that omit the gospel omit anything?

Revelation 3

14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

Matthew 7

17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
