The trend is obvious…and I’m even guilty of having some from my younger days! Seems Hollywood stars sport them, and of course the typical person too. But, the commercial aspect has taken it to a whole new level and even produced them so children can wear them! Washable tattoos.
The growing trend parallels the demonic phenomena as a whole.
Little did I know the association between tattoos and Satan. Do you?

The Bible actually discusses them! Who knew, right?

The Old Testament has GOD warning us of their connections to the occult. In Egypt, the people of GOD were held in bondage and not just as slaves but to the occult powers which resided over this area.
Ephesians 6 (KJV)
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

According to some, Satan has organized Hell into 7 major divisions, called Principalities. He has placed his most powerful demons at the head of these divisions. Each of these demons has the responsibility of spreading his particular brand of temptation and bondage thoroughly over the world.
Satan teaches people through demons! He send his witches…and just as above, so below. This is Satan’s favorite device. As above, so below? What does this mean?
As with the Heavens which GOD created, there is a hierarchy and so Satan must counterfeit this process by stationing his demons over the earth, and the people in it.
The principality over Egypt must have been very persuasive because we see the influences of their destruction.
Moses confronts the Pharaoh by way of plagues. These plagues were sent because of sins committed, namely worshiping idols. But, the last plague was concerning blood. And if you know anything about the occult then you know blood is part of their rituals. The occult powers over Egypt were immense and Moses confronted these wizards (witches) of Egypt. As to mock GOD, the miracles which Moses performed, were duplicated by these wizards.
If you research into the Egyptians then you will soon find that they worshiped Baal, the sun god. And part of their worship involved being tattooed.

Leviticus 19 (KJV)
28 Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.

Then, we have Elijah confronting the prophets of Baal to demonstrate their power, and they produced supernatural powers. But, this is a counterfeit power. Satan performs magic, while GOD performs miracles.

1 Kings 18 (KJV)
28 And they cried aloud, and cut themselves after their manner with knives and lancets, till the blood gushed out upon them.

The most powerful scenes I believe testify to this subject is in the New Testament in Mark 5. Jesus Christ came upon a man who was possessed. The man had a legion of demons. This is 6,000! When the demons would manifest, they would do so by marking the flesh.
So, you see? The cutting and marking of flesh is always associated with the occult realm, with slavery and servitude.
Servitude implies a covenant!
A covenant is a binding agreement between people and their GOD. Of course, Satan counterfeits this! In the OT, when GOD made covenants it involved a sacrifice…a sprinkling of blood. And this binding agreement involves LEGAL RIGHTS.
When GOD created marriage, HE made it a Holy union. This was a covenant between two people and the consummation of this marriage was sexual intercourse. This first act of intercourse was the breaking of the hymen, a shedding of blood!

The discussion of a woman’s virginity came into question:
Deuteronomy 22 (KJV)
15 Then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the damsel’s virginity unto the elders of the city in the gate:
So, it was called, ‘tokens of virginity’. What was this? It was the bedding upon which the act took place. The parents would bring the bedding to validate the fact that she was a virgin. This is powerful stuff!

Another example of blood covenant…when I was younger, kids talked about a ‘blood-brothers’. I am American Indian (Cherokee), so this was something that took place between shedding and mixing of blood to form a sworn loyalty between family or friends. One did so by the cutting of the skin and then the two cuts are pressed together and bound. Sadly, the modern version of this is in gangs…or otherwise known as a ‘blood pact’.

Other finds seem to indicate that tattoos were used as a form of tribal markings, to identify where you came from but the origin of these markings are purely spiritual in nature. Meaning…they were used as a form of protection, or worship.

CREEPY! Right? They resemble claws! That’s the very first thing I noticed.

A Jolie source confirmed to People that the new designs on her back are “Buddhist blessings for peace, love and a prosperous life” and if they are actually yantra tattoos, Jolie would have likely had them hand-drawn by either a Buddhist monk or special rues practitioner. Jolie is fond of specialist tattoo artists, having flown to Thailand at least twice just to have Bangkok tattoo artist Sompong Kanphai ink her and chant a blessing over her design.

On Angelina Jolie’s left hip is a large black cross next to the Latin phrase “Quod me nutrit me destruit,” which translates to “What nourishes me destroys me.”

The finds which I found to be eerie was this:
The Romans used tattoos to brand their (Christian) slaves…and so did the Nazi’s who tattooed numbers on their prisoners (Jewish) in the camps.

So, we see that tattooing is directly connected to the spirit realm. It opens a GATE! It’s also referred to as ‘bloodletting’. And these practices are an open invitation to allow demons to enter your body.

Perhaps this is a form of counterfeiting of Satan against GOD? GOD tells us we are HIS! We have a SEAL OF GOD upon us.

4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

Are these spiritual signs/seals? And to parallel that we have the mark of the beast. Will there actually be a visual mark upon one’s body or is it spiritual?

Seems like a direct parallel to me. The sad part of all of this is that people don’t know the ramifications of tattoos. Just because you didn’t ‘know’ doesn’t mean Satan cares! He will send demons in because you gave them the legal right!

So, many may not know but the laws of man were paralleled from GOD’S Laws. Let’s say you are driving to work, and next thing you know there’s flashing lights behind you. Come to find out, you were speeding. This is a violation of the law. Man’s law. The consequence? You broke the law. The policeman has the legal right to impose a fine. A ticket. Payable or you go to jail.
The same grounds for spiritual laws apply. The legal grounds for evil spirits to enter people’s lives can be anything from possessing an idol, or dabbling in the occult..it can also be trauma (even if your not at fault such as a generational curse). The weapons demons use against us are simple. SIN! When sins take place, the demons gain legal rights over you and your life. And actually it can affect your, friends and family.
Is your house in order? Your house is the body, mind and soul. Is it empty, swept and in order?
When you repent, the legal rights are then dismissed. But, you cannot think that it’s over. You must truly repent and change.
If you haven’t established a relationship with Jesus Christ, The Son of GOD then the demons can come back and bring their friends! So he goes and brings in seven other spirits more wicked than himself!

So, we need the ability to not only cast them out but to also rebuild your life with GOD, through HIS Son, Jesus Christ. So, then there is NO DOOR, NO GATE by which they can reenter.

You see, it’s not just about deliverance from demons but also establishing the REASON for their entry. You must discover why they came in the first place. Sure, the demon is a problem but the demon is a consequence of something that happened. Deal with the root issue and then the demon’s not a problem.

Removing the foothold and then the demon’s got nothing to hold onto.

Generational sin or inequity is the sins of family members of previous generations. They are connected to you by genetics, but also by spirituality. It’s woven together like material.
When did they transfer? Well, the iniquity of the fathers/mothers against their children may not be deliberate. But, it’s like a twisted vine and this allows for it to remain generation after generation. This transfer may have happened at birth.

Other entry points may be unforgiveness, bitterness, resentment, anger, or hostility towards someone. Lies, patterns of this is likened to an agreement with demonic spirits which GOD reveals is Isaiah 28. Then, we have the occult…you may not even know what your doing is considered to be of the ‘occult’. Traditions handed down through the family such as wedding ring gender test:
Attaching a wedding ring to a string and dangling the thread over the mother’s belly. It can also be performed over your palm…etc. So you see…this not only affects the mother but the child too!
Divination is witchcraft!

Divination is the seeking of hidden knowledge, hidden information, or secret information. Either way…it’s witchcraft.

Idolatry is another significant area of sin. People don’t realize it but just owning a doll can allow a spirit to manifest in your home! Dolls were originally created to host spirits.
A fear of dolls does have a proper name, pediophobia, classified under the broader fear of humanoid figures (automatonophobia) and related to pupaphobia, a fear of puppets.
Dolls have traditionally been used in magic and religious rituals throughout the world. Researching the subject will show you just how creepy they are!

Touching of the dead….is a morbid subject but it’s one that needs to be addressed. When someone you live dies…do not touch them! You can be demonized by the touching of a dead body. Once someone dies, they leave…immediately. So, anything left on this earth is a demon! Period. Some will disagree but The Bible tells us so.

Any attempt to dabble in spirit contact is strictly forbidden in the Bible. It is sometimes called necromancy or sorcery or dealing with familiar spirits. Remember, demons can masquerade as the dead. They can even mimic the voices of our loved ones and give information that only the dead person would have known. In case this isn’t clear, let me make it plain. Do not attempt to contact the dead through any means at all—séances, parlor games, crystal balls, psychic readers, channellers, or mediums. You are involving yourself in that which GOD forbids. Leave the dead alone.

Sexual sins are too many to discuss. Let’s just suffice it to say that pornographic material is obviously a sin, and lust can be a major factor in opening doors to the demonic. These kinds of things open doors to soul ties, fornication, homosexuality, etc…

Curses are another source of demonic entry points. They can be the self-induced kind. Words have power and you can place a curse on yourself if your not careful of your own words. Witches place curses over people and this can come by way of a principality. A higher demon can enter a witches meditative state and make then aware of certain people it wants ‘taken care of’.

Another subject is transference! Most people don’t even realize this can take place. If you work in the public eye, and you’re around people all day then you could be ‘touched’ and a demon can be transferred to you. Don’t let people touch you that you don’t know!

Time to clean house…

I renounce all the sins I remember and know about and also the sins I don’t know about. I renounce and confess the sins. Any false owls that I may have made, to any demonic god’s. I renounce any idolatry in witch I was ever involved. Satan I rebuke you in Jesus Christ name. I’m closing any door that I may have opened to you. I renounce Satan and all His demons. I declare them to be my enemies. I want them out of my life completely. And I call on the Lord for deliverance of all evil spirits. In the name of Jesus Christ.
In the name of Jesus Christ I break any curses or rejection from the wound. I now renounce, break and loose myself and all my descendants from all psychic heredity, demonic holes, psychic powers, bondage, bonds of physical or mental illness, all curses, witch may be in my family line as result of sins, even back to ten generations on the both sides of the family.
I now renounce, break and loose myself from all demonic subjection, from any ungodly soul-ties to any person, living or dead, who has ever dominated or controlled me or manipulated me in any way that is contrary to the Will of God and God’s Word. I thank you Jesus for setting me free. I also repent. I ask you to forgive me, if I have ever dominated or controlled some other person in the wrong way.
I now rebuke, break and loose myself from any of the evil curses. Charms, vexes, hexes, spells, jinkses, psychic powers and bewitchment, witchcraft or sorcery that has been put upon me, by any person or persons, or by any occult source or psychic source. I command all connected and related spirits to leave us.
I turn to You, Jesus Christ. You know all my problems, all the things that bind, torment, defile or harass me. I now refuse to accept anything from Satan. I loose myself from any dark spirit. From any evil influence. From any satanic bondage. I command all connected and related spirits to leave us.
I confess that my body is a temple for the Holy Spirit. Redeemed, Cleansed, Sanctified and Justified, by the Blood of Jesus Christ. Therefore Satan has no more place in me. No more power over me, because of the Blood of Jesus Christ.
