The Nature of Forgiveness According to Brother Ralphie

Let me just begin by saying that forgiveness chooses to do no harm.  There is no retaliation in forgiveness.  It is literally to forgive and forget.  In fact, forgiveness has no memory.  But that might be a tall order for some people.  I understand this perfectly.  So, I say that forgiveness chooses to do no harm.  That is really all there is to it.  One can’t just forget.  One can’t forget one’s own sins nor can one forget the sins of others against oneself.  BUT one chooses to do ho harm. 

Now, let me begin by saying that there are those who cannot accept my saying that I am saved by Angels.  Well, my argument is that I wouldn’t be here if not for my Angels.  I am not allowed by God nor by any other power or entity to end my life, nor am I allowed to intentionally take the life of another person.  I apply this same standard to EVERY person alive.  No one is allowed by God to intentionally take a Human Life, including that of one’s own life.  Salvation is really THAT simple.  And if I had not had an experience with my Angels, I am not sure where I would be today.  My life would be totally different, and these some 1750+ posts for this blog would have never been written.  My life would be lived with a different theme or it wouldn’t have been lived at all.  Now, most wouldn’t understand  this, but I do perfectly.  I have written about here in all these posts, so I don’t feel the need to rehash over and over what I have already said here.  But let me summarize by saying what I have been saying and that is that NOTHING is more important to God than every single Human Life, including that of our own lives. 

So, a person’s definition of salvation is much different from what I have said here.  According to most definitions of salvation, it is based on what we do and HOW we live.  But I am saying that our salvation depends on what we do NOT do.  We simply don’t take a Human Life.  So, forgiveness is choosing to NEVER intentionally take a Human Life.  We forget the proverb an eye for an eye.  We turn the other cheek as Jesus told us to do.  And when asked how many times we do this, Jesus in essence says there are no limits to how often we do this, including how often we forgive ourselves.  And THAT is my point. And the Apostle Paul says that if we go to a community to spread the Gospel and we are not received, we leave the dust of our feet on the doormat and move on.  And really, forgiveness allows us to move on with our lives.  We choose not to retaliate nor do we choose vengeance.   How many movies have we seen where revenge is the theme?  There wouldn’t be much of a story about people who forgive and forget and move on, letting God judge for them.  That almost seems less than human.  Actually, it’s MORE than human.  It is really being God-like when we let God do His work. 

I believe this is the essence of Karma in Buddhism.  What goes around comes around.  We just need to have patience to wait for God to do His work.  And we just might die before we see His work perfected.  But still, we then are NOT responsible for the intentional taking of Human Life, when we choose not to forgive.  So, I say that forgiveness simply forgives and forgets, allowing God to judge for us.  And really, in the process, we might look weak and we might seem as though we don’t care about ourselves, but salvation is making a conscious choice to live and let live.  This is salvation.  We choose to let God judge for us.  And forgiveness simply means we don’t take the law into our own hands.  We choose to NOT do harm.  That is all there is to it.  Salvation can’t be more simple than this.  I say this isn’t from myself.  This is what my Angels have taught me.  We let God judge and don’t take His judgment in our own hands.  That is all there is to it.  Peace.  I am Brother Ralphie writing for my Angels from The Angels of Life Institute.  Brother Ralphie works from his study for the promotion of Peaceful living and inner Peace with God.
