St. Ignatius of Loyola

On July 31, the Universal Church marks the feast day of St. Ignatius of Loyola. The Spanish saint is known for founding the Society of Jesus, also known as the Jesuits, as well as for creating the “Spiritual Exercises” often used today for retreats and individual discernment.
St. Ignatius was born into a noble family in 1491 in Guipuzcoa, Spain. He served as a page in the Spanish court of Ferdinand and Isabella.
He then became a soldier in the Spanish army and wounded his leg during the siege of Pamplona in 1521. During his recuperation, he read “Lives of the Saints.” The experience led him to undergo a profound conversion, and he dedicated himself to the Catholic faith.
After making a general confession in a monastery in Montserrat, St. Ignatius proceeded to spend almost a year in solitude. He wrote his famous “Spiritual Exercises” and then made a pilgrimage to Rome and the Holy Land, where he worked to convert Muslims.
St. Ignatius returned to complete his studies in Spain and then France, where he received his theology degree. While many held him in contempt because of his holy lifestyle, his wisdom and virtue attracted some followers, and the Society of Jesus was born.
The Society was approved by Pope Paul III in 1540, and it grew rapidly. St. Ignatius remained in Rome, where he governed the Society and became friends with St. Philip Neri.
St. Ignatius died peacefully on July 31, 1556. He was canonized by Pope Gregory XV in 1622.
The Jesuits remain numerous today, particularly in several hundred universities and colleges worldwide.
On April 22, 2006, Pope Benedict XVI presided over a Eucharistic concelebration for the Society of Jesus. He addressed the fathers and brothers of the Society present at the Vatican Basilica, calling to mind the dedication and fidelity of their founder.
“St. Ignatius of Loyola was first and foremost a man of God who in his life put God, his greatest glory and his greatest service, first,” the Pope said. “He was a profoundly prayerful man for whom the daily celebration of the Eucharist was the heart and crowning point of his day.”
“Precisely because he was a man of God, St Ignatius was a faithful servant of the Church,” Benedict continued, recalling the saint’s “special vow of obedience to the Pope, which he himself describes as ‘our first and principal foundation.’”
Highlighting the need for “an intense spiritual and cultural training,” Pope Benedict called upon the Society of Jesus to follow in the footsteps of St. Ignatius and continue his work of service to the Church and obedience to the Pope, so that it’s members “may faithfully meet the urgent needs of the Church today.”

The Jesuits are redoutable, fierce and good to have on one’s side if you are the Pope. This is what is universally known. For example after the death of Pope Leo XIII, the enemies within the conclave managed to have Cardinal Rampolla gaining a majority votes, but, there was a Jesuit priest, who, upon learning the eligibility of Rampolla, immediately send a telegram to the Emperor of Austria demanding that the Emperor (of Austria) exercise his right to a veto. The Emperor exercised his veto, and Rampolla was not confirmed Pope. This is the conclave that gave the Church Cardinal Giuseppe Sarto who took the pontifical name of Pius X. Eventually this pope became a saint known for his encyclical against Modernism.
What happen to Rampolla? the electors of the conclave had been very surprised of the veto by the Emperor of Austria. The Jesuit priest who demanded the veto was Monsignor Jouin SJ. He knew something that “only” Jesuits were capable and supposed to know: Cardinal Rampolla was secretly a member of the abominable Ordo Templi Orientis (O.T.O.)! The O.T.O. are Luciferians! Pedro Arrupe facilitated the abominable Pastoral Council of Vatican II, which Council’s diabolical “soul” was the late Father Pierre Teilhard de Chardin SJ.

It is possible that now after so many years of becoming the Synagogue of Satan, that nobody wished to become the sixth antipope after the resignation of the fifth one (Antipope Benedict XVI). This may be why the Jesuit took the final burden upon themselves by electing Mister Bergoglio as Antipope Francis.
N.B. Saint Ignatius of Loyola, the first Superior General of the Company of Jesus was a Basque. Father Pedro Arrupe, the traitor Superior General of the Society of Jesus, was also a Basque. Those were the only Basques in that quality. Antipope “Saint” John-Paul II “fired” Pedro Arrupe after this latest got a stroke. the “Saintly” antipope appointed Pedro’s successor. Never in the history of the Jesuits, a Superior General had been appointed. This “appointment by outsiders” as opposed to a designation among Jesuits to their Superior General may also explains the horrible things from which the Jesuits are now being accused.

It is the order which gave the highest number -by far- of canonized saints: 53! yes, you read well. Fifty Three Saints. Some that you may know vaguely such as Peter Claver: who spend 40 years in South America laboring for the salvation of the African Negroes and the abolition of the Negro slave trade. You may never have hear of Saints Isaac Jogues, John de Brebeuf, Charles Garnier, Anthony Daniel, Gabriel Lallemant, Noel Goupil, all French Jesuits who were martyred for preaching the gospel to the Huron and Iroquois Indians. Let’s also not forget that the Blessed Virgin is queen under many titles, and in particular under the title of Queen of the Angels. Why that? because at the fall of Lucifer, all the good angels became terrified of also falling into the sin of pride. It is the Blessed Virgin, a mere women, who, by her humility rebuked Lucifer or Satan. The BVM restored confidence among all the good angels. This is why She is their Queen. St Ignatius of Loyola, in spite of his bravery also remain humble. Remember his prayer: “Take O Lord, and receive my entire liberty, my memory and my whole will.
