Our “End-Times” Plan #5 The Good News of How Your Story Ends – The Rapture

I’m grateful to see how many people have continued to study with this group. I again appreciate you supporting me, as well as our blog family, as we study about the end times.

As indicated, the focus of this blog is to provide emotional support and find peace while we travel together through the end times. One of the greatest things that I can do for you to assist with your anxiety is to let you know how our story ends. If we know this, then most of the uncertainty will be eliminated. You can observe an end times prophecy happen in real time, and still find great comfort because you know exactly what will be happening to you.

Today’s study requires faith, which we will talk about tomorrow. Faith essentially means TRUST. I will share some things today. The importance of what I share will be enhanced by your TRUST in the things that I am saying. If you don’t have Faith (Trust) in these things, it really means nothing to you personally…They are just words.

As an anxiety coach, I like to take people through a scenario all the way to the end. Many people who experience anxiety are stuck in the continual thought of the “What if’s”. They consider every possibility that could happen to them, causing an overload of sensory information and spiral into the world of fear or even perhaps a panic attack. Taking them through situations to the very end eliminates many of these what if’s. So, let’s go…

When talking about the end times, one of our very biggest concerns is that “I might die”. Do you have this thought? Not studying the end times might have been one of your prior solutions so that you don’t have to consider even thinking about this question…But let me help you today. I don’t want you to think of the word death, but I’d like for you to replace it with the word “Changed”.

If you are a follower of Jesus Christ, and have devoted your life to Him, it is very likely that you will avoid death, and rather be changed. Does that sound appealing to you? And, not to be just changed all alone, but rather, to be changed at the same time as all of your family and friends who have accepted Jesus Christ as well…Together, at the same time. There is great comfort here. Now, let’s work on the faith or trust of what I have just told you.

In studying the end times, it is important to remember that the fight that is going on in essentially between God and Satan. Remember, satan is trying to get you on his team, and at the same time God is protecting His children…PROTECTING…Watching Over…He’s being a Father to you.

The very worst thing that you can be thinking right now is that the wrath that God plans to send to the earth involves you…because it doesn’t. God is not upset with you, He’s mad at satan and team evil. All of the scary stuff that you might read is not intended for you. See God’s relationship with you as it really is…Loving, and protecting.

So, with this change of focus now, let’s look at the end times under the terms of what our Father has planned for us, His children.

God does not intend for His children, referred to as “His Church” in the scriptures, to be here when He pours out His wrath upon the earth. So, being a loving and protecting Being, He plans to “Come and get us” and remove us from the earth in an even which is called “The Rapture.”

Let’s learn about this:

First, here is God’s promise to us:

Revelation 3:10

“Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.”

God is going to “Keep us from His Judgments” and will do so through the rapture.

Here’s a brief description of the Rapture based on the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible:

The Rapture refers to a future event when believers in Jesus Christ will be suddenly caught up to meet the Lord in the air. This is described in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 (KJV):

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

This event will be sudden and unexpected, as described in 1 Corinthians 15:52 (KJV):

“In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”

Jesus Christ will be coming down from the clouds, not actually coming down to the earth as He will do during His Second Coming. He will draw us up to meet Him in the air. The scripture above says that the dead in Christ, (righteous people who have already died) will rise up first and be resurrected.

Resurrected” means to be brought back to life after death, but with a perfect, immortal body that will never die again.

Christs Church (You and Me) can’t be resurrected since we have never died, but we will not be able to exist up in the clouds with Jesus Christ with the body that we currently have. It is because of this that our bodies will be “Changed” into the same perfect bodies as those who were just resurrected.

We are going all together, yes, with your children, spouse, mom and dad, and all of those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior.

The rapture is not based upon the judgment of sin. The requirement to be raptured is to be “Born Again” through Christ. This means that you have given your life to Christ in prayer. You have committed to follow Him, and try to live the best life that you can. It has NOTHING to do with our works, good or bad, it is simply based upon the followers of Christ, which again He refers to as His church.

The phrase “His church” in the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible refers to the body of true believers who follow Jesus Christ. The Bible teaches that the church is not a building or denomination, but the people who belong to Christ.

Here are a few key KJV verses related to His church:

Matthew 16:18 (KJV)

“And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

• Jesus declares His ownership of the church—“my church”—and that it will be victorious against all evil.

Ephesians 5:23 (KJV)

“For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.”

• Christ is not only the head of the church, but also its Savior. The church is referred to as His body.

Acts 20:28 (KJV)

“Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.”

• The church belongs to God because it was purchased by the blood of Jesus—a powerful declaration of ownership and love.

In the KJV, “His church” refers to the spiritual body of believers who have faith in Jesus Christ. It is described as built by Christ, purchased by His blood, led by Him, and protected by Him. It transcends denominations and is rooted in a personal relationship with Jesus. (We will discuss this in future writings).

The rapture is how our story ends. We will not die. Jesus will be coming down soon and changing all of His followers, as a group, into glorious beings that will live with Him forever. Upon your ascension up, your body will be CHANGED into a perfect body. No more worry, stress, hardships, sadness, anxiety, depression, pain nor anything that has been such a hardship for you here upon the earth. All of this will be gone.

Jesus will then take us to the New World, “Heaven” that He has created for us…It will be as a heavenly mansion living with Christ. Can you even imagine?

I think about this world which was also created by God. I have spent a lifetime exploring this world. I have seen the beauty that it offers, as well as had the opportunity to participate in many adventures that I have found here.

I plan on doing the very same thing in the new place that God has created for us…Exploring I’s beauty, and finding new adventures. Heaven will not be like going to church, (I think that most of us can say that sometimes church is anything from heavenly, and boring). Heaven will be a glorious environment living in peace with our family members who too follow Christ. Can you imagine the adventures that we will all have together? I…Can’t…Wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now, you have the news of what will happen to us. Whew…what a relief. Nothing else should matter. Soon, we will talk about how we can have Faith / Trust in finding out how we too can know that this plan is true.

I leave a prayer with you that you will be able to recognize truth. I pray that your anxiety of the end times will be eliminated as you see the plan that God has for you in keeping you safe, through His miraculous plan of the rapture. I pray that you will learn how to trust God, and be open to the teachings that we continue to share.
