Blind Allegiance

If there is a future left for the United States, we have to rid ourselves of the blind allegiance that so many Republicans have toward Donald Trump. It really isn’t so amazing this blind allegiance considering how America for the past 45 years have suffered such a decline of the moral fortitude that this nation had during World War II thru the late 1960′s. Now, if people can’t realize what the former President, has done and keeps doing they must be actually blind to see that the chances of surviving as a nation of another episode of Trump’s folly is very slim.

He may be not the worst President ever, but he surely ranks as one of the most corrupt former elected officials in our history. People now days may think it is no big deal to use an elected office to enrich themselves. The fact of the matter is practically every member of Congress does it. All on the taxpayer’s dime.

Since the FBI’s commandeering of official documents from their raid at Mar-a-largo it has come to light that Trump used his office of the Presidency to broker agreements with foreign leaders and dignitaries in efforts to acquire real-estate in those foreign nations. This in effect is a breach of conduct of the office of the Presidency. This in itself is bad enough to conclude that Trump was seeking to use his office to enrich not the American public but himself. The other documents that were uncovered from the FBI’s seizure are national security breaches that show his intent on keeping pertinent information for falling into the hands of the Justice Department. It is these documents that would very well incriminate himself as acting above the law.

This blind allegiance has now spread through-out the country to a point that many are caught up in a feeding frenzy of outrage by what the FBI and the Democratic Party are doing. It is this blind allegiance to Trump, the partisan politics and the pervasive attitude that some can act above the rule of law that could very well be the swan song for the United States being a democratic republic. No longer can the American public be entrapped by this blind allegiance to a man who has shown his true colors.
