Introduction about Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Movie

After Marvel Comics film Thor – Love and Thunder, his upcoming film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is about to hit the theaters. Which is the sequel to Black Panther which came in 2018.

Black Panther movie is the 3OTH movie of Marvel Cinematic Universe [MCU]. Produced by marvel studios and opposite partner Walt Disney Studios motion picture

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Movie is directed by Ryan Coogler. Who directed Black Panther in 2018. He has also written the story of this film. He also has the script for the film with Joe Robert Cole.

Talking about the star cast of this film, Letitia Wright is playing the role of Shuri [Princess of Wakanda]. Lupita plays the role of Nyong’o as Nakia, alongside Danai Gurira, Winston Duke, Dominique Thorne, Florence Kasumba, Michaela Coel, Tenoch Huerta, Martin Freeman, and Angela Bassett.

A sequel to Black Panther [2018] was planned soon after the release of the Black Panther film. But it was actor Chadwick Boseman who played the lead role in the film, playing T’Challa. He died due to colon cancer. also Marvel decided not to give his role to any of the actor as a tribute.

So the decided cast was mostly from the first film for Wakanda Forever. The production of the movie again started from late june to november. The shoots were taken place in cities like atlanta and brunswick and some scene were also shot in geogira as well as around massachusetts.

Production of the film was resumed by mid of the month of January 2022 and the last shot was done in late March in the Rico.

The movie is going to be in cinemas on november 11 in the year of 2022. It has been 4 years since the movie Black Panther was released.

The official and first Wakanda Forever trailer was shown at the event of SDCC and the trailer stated a Wakanda in mourning of their king T’challa. Some known faces like Nakia Okoye, M’Baku, Ayo, Queen Ramonda, and Shuri appear in the footage, also there was a new character introduced by Riri Williams and a little hint of her transformation into the character of Ironheart. Also, the trailer consists of the persistent rumor that Namor will also be the antagonist of the film. Plus a new Black Panther has been seen.

The second trailer of the following movie was unveiled at D23. In that particular trailer, fans were able to get the clearer picture and introduced to movies villain like

Namor (Tenoch Huerta), and his underwater kingdom. “Only the most broken people can be great leaders,” he says, ominously, as the trailer begins.

”His people do not call him general or king. They call him K’uk’ulkan, the feather serpent god. Killing him will risk eternal war,”

words said by M’baku (Winston Duke), also in the next scene Shuri (Letitia Wright) warns: “He’s coming for the surface world.”

That is how marvel gave us our first glimpse of Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne) having the Ironheart suit,

The most advanced suit which is also the rival of the Another famous marvel character Iron man itself. The trailer also includes that wakanda is interested in something new and there are Vibranium supplies. The trailer also stated the people of wakanda were being oppressed by others.

Black Panther Wakanda Forever Director

The direction was given by Ryan Coogler who  is an American director, producer and a great screenwriter.

He also is a recipient of four of the NAACP Image Awards, and four Black Reel Awards and also an Academy Award nomination for the Best Picture.

His first and feature length film was the independent film Fruitvale station (2013). The movie won the grand jury prize and also the audience award for U.S. dramatic film in the year 2013 on Sundance Film Festival. It also won at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival, for Best First Film.

Since then he has co-written and also directed some known films like Rocky series spinoff, Creed (2015), and the Marvel cinematic universe movie Black Panther (2018),

The specific movie broke numerous box office records and became the highest-grossing film of all time ever directed by an African American.

Coogler is the man who also co-wrote and directed the sequel of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022).

Black Panther Wakanda Forever Cast | Intro Shuri played by Letitia Wright;

Princess of Wakanda, who designs new technology for the nation. Wright was given a larger role in the film following the death of Chadwick Boseman, who had previously starred in the MCU media as Shuri’s brother T’Challa/Black Panther. Wright says Shuri turned to her technology to mourn T’Challa.

 Nakia played by Lupita Nyong’o:

A war dog, and an undercover agent for the Wakanda, from the River Tribe.

Okoye played by Danai Gurira:

Leader of Dora Milaje, which also has Wakanda’s all-female special forces.

M’Baku played by Winston Duke:

A powerful warrior who is the leader of the Wakanda hill tribe, Jabari. Duke points out that after Jabari’s involvement in the events of the Avengers:

Infinity War (2018) and Avengers,Endgame (2019), the tribe is no longer isolated from the rest of Wakanda. He also feels that M’Baku is trying to “find a way to move forward” in this new world for Wakanda, just as many people in the real world are trying to do in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ramonda played by Angela Bassett:

Queen Mother of Wakanda, who mourns her son T’Challa. Bassett explains that Ramonda will try to balance leading her people, being Shuri’s mother, and keeping threats against Wakanda “for the short term”, while mourning T’Challa’s death , who “has much to manage for her ”.

Additionally, Isaach de Bankolé, Dorothy Steel and Danny Sapani reprised their roles as elders of the Wakandan River Tribe, Merchant Tribe and Border Tribe, respectively. Mabel Cadena plays Namor’s cousin, Namora, while Alex Livinalli plays Talokan warrior Attuma. Kamaru Usman and Richard Schiff have been cast for undisclosed roles.

Conclusion

Kevin Feige also confirmed that the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be the final movie of phase 4. But it doesn’t seem us to give the fans any plot clues, but the movie seems to hint some particulars like the closure to the stage of MCU[Marvel Cinematic Universe] before the attention gets shifted to the Marvel’s next thanos level villain- Kang the conqueror the storyline is set to loom in phase 5 and phase 6.

Now, riri williams also figures the plot for Wakanda Forever, which is a complete unknown for now, but her new debut in the upcoming movie will come ahead and also her solo Disney Plus show
