Thulani Rudolf Maseko

Prominent Human Rights lawyer Thulani Rudolf Maseko was assassinated in Eswatini/Swaziland. The assassination of this activist has shocked all people in Eswatini, South Africa and Zimbabwe. Relatives are mourning and children are traumatised that they cannot see their father anymore.

Thulani Rudolf Maseko was imprisoned from 2014 to 2015, and declared a prisoner of conscience by Amnesty International.

Assassination in this regard is a tool that has been used to eliminate the one perceived to be a threat to the social order. Advocate Thulani Maseko has been doing wonderful work representing the poor and persecuted in Eswatini Courts. We have lost a hero and a philanthropist.

We call the Eswatini Police and government to bring the perpetrators of this heinous crime to court.

These political assassinations are often happening in South Africa. This is evil and wrong. All innocent people must feel safe and be protected from this deliberate wickedness.
