An open letter to the good patriots of the FBI

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen of America’s Federal Bureau of Investigation:

Think back to when you joined the FBI, how proud you, your family and your friends were that you were part of the most respected crime-fighting organization in the world. Just the words, “I’m with the FBI” meant you were special and everyone knew it.

You were one of the legendary “Untouchables.”

How times have changed.

According to reporting by CBS News and The Independent, FBI personnel have been told that the Bureau will no longer take the lead in investigating shootings and assaults involving ICE agents. Instead, those investigations would be handled by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), which is itself part of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)—the same department that oversees ICE. 

In short, DHS will investigate itself.

The FBI and DHS are only two in a long list of federal agencies, led and corrupted by incompetents, whose primary mission seems to be to protect Donald Trump from criticism. 

• • Our military leader who fired our best military officers (especially women and gays)
  • The Health and Human Services leader who has no scientific background
  • The Attorney General who will do nothing about Trump’s corruption
  • Tthe head of ICE whose poorly trained agents, that unlike regular police, wear masks so they can’t be identified when they break the law, and who often “neglect” to wear required body cameras 
  • The head of the FBI, who uses FBI aircraft for personal travel by him and his pals
  • Congress whose many members will not say aloud that Trump lost the 2020 election.
  • Tthe Supreme Court of the United States — The Supreme Court! — that refuses to establish prohibitions against its own corruption! Meanwhile, it has done everything possible to make Trump a king, which it calls by the deceptive name, “The Unitary Executive.”
  • The President of the United States, who is the ultimate of corruption. It isn’t enough that he has made illegal billions buying stocks ahead of his positive comments about those companies. His latest money-grabbing gambit: He has begun to sell inside information so that the rich too, can get a jump on the stock market movements Trump causes by each Truth Social comment he makes. 

All of them, and others, corrupt, incompetent or both.

It is not your imagination that unprecedented corruption and incompetence infect every branch of our government. 

Yes, we citizens have only ourselves to blame. We knew what Trump was, certainly by 2024, the second time we elected him, but we allowed hatred and prejudice to override our traditional American decency, and now we are paying the price.

Even in areas where the FBI is not involved, America is declining:

• • A war built on lies rages. 17 Americans killed and more than 430 Americans injured with the numbers now are going up quickly, while President “heel spurs” worries about the fate of his reflection pool.
  • Good families and businesses are being destroyed by unnecessarily harsh deportation.
  • Inflation is worsening
  • Renewable energy, that could help cure inflation, is discouraged, while polluting coal is given priority.
  • Our allies are being attacked by tariffs applied randomly for perceived insults to our dear leader.
  • Our schools are prohibited even from mentioning slavery.
  • Seniors are paying more for healthcare despite having Medicare.
  • Elections are being corrupted by massive gerrymandering
  • And Trump’s rich pals are getting richer while our poor are less able to pay for basic food and shelter.

The shitification of America under Trump, is well underway.

But ladies and gentlemen of America’s FBI, do not despair. Trump is a physically and mentally sick, feeble old man. One way or another, within 2 1/2 years, he will be out of office, and then the decent people of America will rise again. Trump, his family and the rest of his corrupted sycophants, will encounter true justice.

The prison doors are open and awaiting them.

So, good ladies and gentlemen of the FBI, lie low and save the evidence. Don’t let the evidence disappear like the Epstein files on Trump. 

America can recover and return to being that “shining city on a hill.” You will be asked to provide the evidence for the numerous trials that will cleanse the vile stain of greed, hatred, bigotry, and incompetence that Trump has brought down upon our fair land.

Lie low and save the evidence, so that America again can be admired throughout the world for truth, decency, and democracy. And you again will receive justifiable plaudits when  you in speak the words, “I’m with the FBI.”

Lie low and save the evidence. The time is coming.
