Today John Mauldin stunned King World News when he went into detail about events that will, “… be a shock to the world.” Mauldin, President of Millennium Wave Securities, also warned, “Nobody sees that coming.” Here is what Mauldin had to say: “The problem is the deficit. We hit the wall, I don’t think most people really understand how catastrophic it would be to hit that wall. It’s just something that we haven’t seen in the US. It’s not in anybody’s lifetime experience, and it would be ugly.”
John Mauldin continues:
“If you want to know what it looks like, go to Spain, go to Greece, go to Argentina. Go to any one of a couple hundred countries that have hit that wall. There is a wall. There is a limit. It’s more difficult this time. We’ve got a deeper, bigger problems.

This is only the ten thousandth story we heard about the collapse since 2008. THis story tops out with a close second being….we’re going to attack Iran. How many YEARS have they been telegraphing that likelihood.
Don’t you get it…everyone (literally everyone) is full of BS. Everyone has an agenda. Everyone is desperate. And those that appear to be genuine, don’t have a clue or all the facts. However that doesn’t stop them from speculating and pontificating like an educated derelict.

Congress not working together and stuck in gridlock is the best place they can be for the ecenomy and the country. Every time they pass a bill into law ityt takes a toll on this country, our freedom, and our ability to conduct business and to prosper. The mess these laws create becomes the next reason they “need to act” and pass a new law. One of the few truly constructive things that Congress could do would be to start repealling the thousands of laws they have passed and that are choking our country. Yhis is the action we need to see out of Congress!
The stock market dropped today…. it seems those who decide the reasons “why” after the fact say it is because the Fed didn’t send the right signal on QE3. This is moronic….. the stock market goes up when they print more money and as money floods the market the value is less. Think about it, if you keep driving the cost of money down to zero, doesn’t it become worthless eventually-?

This story is taken completely out of context. He is speaking of America’s need to use our natural gas. ““As it turns out, we have found so much natural gas and oil in this country, … If we start exporting value-added natural gas, in the form of fertilizers and plastics and other products that you make from natural gas, we could have a positive trade balance in less than ten years. That would be a shock to the world. ‘Nobody sees that coming.’” Why have you taken the last line from that paragraph and singled it out to make the Mr. Mauldin’s quote geared more toward fear vs. good ole financial advise for America. He is only saying that it would shock the world if we staring exporting our natural gas, as it would strengthen us. He is not saying anything else.
Stop trying to scare everyone.
Exporting natural gas isn’t going to fix anything unless the profits are paid to the true owners of that natural gas, the people. And there’s not enough natural gas or oil to put even a dent in our national debt.
Currency is going to have to end for people to actually be free. Capitalism has destroyed this nation like its destroyed every other country. Currency is only a tool for the rich. Serves no purpose to regular people.
So they are going to collapse the card house? I did it a hundred times when I was kid, it was fun you just stack up cards. The paper money isn’t real. It’s like the money in a Monopoly Game. What are they going to do with it – start a fire?
