No matter which way you slice it, this number isn’t good news for the Obama administration — they can spin the jobs numbers by ignoring the number of people who dropped out of the workforce, but this statistic is pretty straightforward.
The 49.1% of the population in a household that gets benefits is up from 30% in the early 1980s and 44.4% as recently as the third quarter of 2008.

All you have to do to see a deep recession or even a depression is to stop pumping 1 Trillion Dollars of borrowed money and hundreds of Billions of printed money into the economy. That has been about all that has kept us out of one so far for the past 4 years. Of course we will eventually see one. How deep and severe it is will depend on how bad off the government is. We are now 6 Trillion more dollars in debt than we were 4 years ago, have badly debased our dollar. We are also in a far weaker position in the World then when Obama took office… but hey, it got him re-elected. Nothing else mattered!!!
