Career Coach Update: NEW Résumé Upload Feature and Search Boxes

Since the release of the Employer Portal for Career Coach, we’ve continued listening to feedback from users and exploring new ways to deliver value. Based on that work, Emsi is excited to announce two recent updates that will make Career Coach even more effective for students and job seekers!

Résumé Upload Feature

Users can now create résumés outside Career Coach and upload them to their Career Coach profile for easy submission to job postings. This has been one of the most frequently requested Career Coach features and we’re thrilled to release it!

With this update, users can fully customize the layout and design of their résumés, and even include a cover letter as the first page of their file to better target-specific opportunities.

To upload a résumé, users click the plus sign in the new “Uploaded Résumés” section of their Career Coach profile. Then, simply drag and drop the file directly onto the page, or use the “select a file” button to navigate to the relevant document. Allowable file formats are .pdf, .txt, .doc, and .docx.

New Search Boxes

We’ve also added new careers and programs search boxes on the Career Coach homepage. This update is designed to help users quickly access relevant data by prompting them to search for a career or program of interest. The existing search button that users are accustomed to will remain accessible at the top of the screen so they can jump to a search at any time, from any other page within the tool.
