Interest on the national debt is already $1.4 trillion a year, passes $2 trillion next year – more than Social Security – and at 8% on a $50 trillion debt would reach $4 trillion, around 80% of federal tax revenue. He will not put a date on the bond crisis that follows, but he will not rule out weeks. On silver he is specific too: $50 was five decades of resistance and is now support, and anything under $60 is the bottom. He also explains why oil priced in gold is a gift to the miners, why he holds more mining stocks than metal, and what a genuine confidence crisis would actually look like on the screen.
