The ONE CLUB You Must Join In College

Your Reputation Precedes You…NetClarify Can Help!

Your student population probably supports over a thousand clubs, groups and organizations. With all of the time you spend studying, working or looking for work, you can’t devote yourself to all of them…so, which do you choose?

Some organizations are obviously calling your name and you should answer!

  1. If you want to make some friends and develop a far-reaching network, the Greek system might be right up your alley. But as reward as it can be, you may not have the time, patience or money to be an active participant in mandatory events and semesterly dues.
  2. If you know what you want to be when you graduate, there is probably a club for that. This will help you stay engaged with a community of like-minded individuals and bolster your resume.
  3. If your resume is looking a bit low on the leadership side, you may want to seek out a club where you could get experience as a Director, Chair or VP within the year. These are the sorts of clubs that you will want to stay affiliated with for as long as possible to show your growth in and loyalty to the club, as well as the ability to adequately perform your assigned duties.

All of these clubs have their place in your college extracurricular if you need them, but they are not necessary the ONE CLUB you must join. What is, you ask?

You need to join a FUN CLUB! College is a time for new experiences and new people, so make the most of it with a club whose sole function is to make you smile. This will be different for everyone, and the variety is nearly endless, so the only advice to give is to make sure that it’s reputation appropriate!

Examples of fun clubs that may be on your campus are below. If you don’t find any fun clubs on your campus that tickle your fancy, start one!

The Mustache Club (potenial cool shirt!)
Dodgeball Club
Family Guy Club
Badminton Club
Harry Potter Club
