Five New Uranium Drill Targets Emerge as Exploration Corridor Grows
Source: Streetwise Reports 07/24/2026
Stallion Uranium Corp. (STUD:TSX; STLNF:OTCQB; FE0:FSE) identified five priority drill target areas after expanding a gravity survey at its Coyote target in the Athabasca Basin.
Stallion Uranium Corp. (STUD:TSX; STLNF:OTCQB; FE0; FSE) announced the completion of an expanded ground gravity survey at its Coyote target, which identified multiple new high-priority uranium drill targets and extended the prospective strike length of the Coyote exploration corridor within the Moonlite Project, part of the southwestern Athabasca Basin Joint Venture with ATHA Energy Corp. (SASK:TSX.V; SASKF:OTCMKTS; X5U:FRA). The survey was completed in two phases and expanded coverage across the interpreted Coyote conductive corridor beyond the company’s previously announced gravity results dated July 14, 2025.
According to the company, the expanded survey identified five integrated target areas across the Coyote corridor, designated A through E, where gravity lows coincide with interpreted structures and conductive corridors. The company said several gravity low anomalies occur at structural intersections that are recognized as favorable settings for Athabasca uranium deposits. The survey also extended the prospective strike length beyond the original target area and contributed to an updated geological model that integrated gravity data with previously completed MobileMT, ground TDEM, magnetic, and structural interpretations.
Matthew Schwab, CEO of Stallion, said, “Through every step of this exploration program, we continue to strengthen our confidence in the Coyote corridor. The expanded gravity survey has materially increased the number of high-priority drill targets while further validating the geological model we have been building over the past several years. As we continue integrating each dataset, we’re seeing a larger and more compelling exploration system emerge.”
He added, “The integration of multiple independent geophysical datasets continues to refine drill targeting while systematically reducing geological risk across the Coyote Corridor.”
The company said the eastern extension expanded the survey footprint across the remainder of the interpreted conductive corridor and identified several additional discrete gravity low features. These gravity lows occur in areas interpreted to contain significant structural complexity and are spatially associated with electromagnetic conductors interpreted from previous MobileMT, HeliSam, and ground TDEM surveys. The integrated dataset outlines multiple priority target areas distributed along the Coyote corridor outside the previous survey area.
Following completion of the survey extension, Stallion integrated the new gravity data into an updated three-dimensional exploration model. According to the company, the gravity inversion suggests several gravity low features extend beneath the unconformity and are associated with interpreted fault intersections and graphitic conductive horizons. The company said the updated geological model will be used to refine future drill collar locations and prioritize exploration across the broader Coyote corridor. Convolutions Geoscience completed a 3D inversion of the gravity data using industry-standard Fullagar Vertical Prism Magnetic and Gravity (VPmg) codes to estimate subsurface density variations and assist in delineating alteration zones of interest for uranium exploration.
According to a July 21 analysis from Sprott Asset Management, uranium market fundamentals had continued to strengthen even as uranium mining equities underperformed during the first half of the year. The report stated that “this performance divergence reflects a combination of near-term market uncertainty, risk-off positioning and subdued investor sentiment rather than any deterioration in the sector’s underlying fundamentals.” Sprott reported that the long-term uranium price had reached US$94 per pound at the end of June, its highest level in 18 years, while spot uranium had gained 4.28% year to date. The report also stated that “the rapid expansion of AI data centers, reshoring, advanced manufacturing, and electrification are accelerating the demand for reliable, base load electricity,” while demand not yet covered by existing uranium contracts was projected to exceed 3 billion pounds through 2045.
Jacob White, director of ETF product management at Sprott Asset Management, told Proactive that “the demand and supply fundamentals for uranium miners have rarely been stronger,” while noting that “the market has not focused on that.” He also said utilities were “beginning to face much larger uncovered requirements” for uranium supply within their contracting window. Sprott further noted that Canada’s Nuclear Energy Strategy targeted a doubling of uranium exports by 2035 while reinforcing the country’s position as the world’s second-largest uranium producer.
The Northern Miner cited Jacob White, who wrote, “A rising long-term price shows that the market remains tight, even if equity markets don’t reflect it.” According to the report, Sprott said tightening long-term supply, stronger nuclear policies, and rising electricity demand continued to support uranium. The publication also noted that long-term uranium prices more closely reflected utility contracting, mine economics, and pricing required to encourage new production, while governments had shifted from broad support for nuclear energy toward financing and regulatory reforms intended to advance projects.
BNC reported on July 24 that uranium was trading at approximately US$85.75 per pound after several months of relatively narrow price movement. According to the report, the commodity had remained within an established trading range following a temporary move above US$100 earlier in the year, with support holding between approximately US$84 and US$85 per pound. The publication stated that technical indicators had shown “mild improvement,” while the price action indicated that “since April, sharp down moves have stopped occurring,” as uranium continued to trade within a stable range.
Paydirt Prospector Reiterated Buy Rating as Coyote Exploration Advanced
According to the July 9 Paydirt Prospector Mid-Summer Full Portfolio Update, Jeff Clark and Daniel Flynn maintained a Buy rating on Stallion Uranium. The publication did not provide a formal price target.
Clark and Flynn described the company as “a high-risk speculation, a pre-discovery play,” adding, “But it could also move like Usain Bolt if the drill bit delivers.”
The newsletter stated that Stallion was “testing Coyote for a big basement-hosted uranium system in the Athabasca Basin for the first time.” It added that the project was “drawing comparisons to NexGen Energy Ltd.’s (NXE:TSX; NXE:NYSE.MKT) Arrow deposit, with early drilling already turning up elevated radioactivity and promising structural signs.”
The authors cautioned, “That’s not a discovery yet. Assays decide that.” They also wrote that “Stallion has already expanded the program, and the stock bounced back quickly after falling on the last update.” The report concluded, “This is an overweight position for Jeff and I.”
Next Catalysts Focus on Assays and Additional Drill Testing
Much of the exploration work outlined in Stallion’s March 2026 corporate presentation has now been completed. The company has already advanced its winter diamond drilling program at the Coyote Corridor, expanded the program following encouraging early results, completed multiple geophysical surveys, and released the results of its expanded ground gravity survey that identified five priority drill target areas.
According to the company’s March 2026 corporate presentation, drilling at the Fishhook and Lynx targets remained part of the company’s broader exploration plans, although no subsequent company releases indicated that drilling had begun at either target.
The presentation also stated that geophysical work would continue across priority targets as the company refined its exploration pipeline. With the current drilling program completed, results from the Coyote diamond drilling program remain outstanding. As noted in the July 9 Paydirt Prospector Mid-Summer Full Portfolio Update, “That’s not a discovery yet. Assays decide that.” [OWNERSHIP_CHART-10167]
