This Book Woukd Make a Great Movie
Imagine that you are working in your garden; that you actually feel the prickly leaves of the tomato plants on your bare arms as you walk down the row. You hear a faint sound; one that is out of place—very unnatural. It is growing louder. You turn to see what the sound is coming from just as you hear a gunshot and your peripheral vision picks up the splash of dirt at your feet just as you see the drone. It is hovering and its gun is pointed right at you. You run for your life just as the drone shoots at you again.
Can you imagine looking at a cornfield and hearing a whirring sound grow louder and louder as you peer at the corn trying to see what is making all the noise. Then you notice the growing darkness above the corn. You stare while trying to figure out what is happening. Then you realize that the darkness is a cloud of drones just as they begin shooting at you. The roar of their guns is deafening as you try to escape.
These are just two of many highly visual scenes in the book. I can see John Cena or a younger Harrison Ford in the lead role.
