Then there those countries which still have much to do.
Worth admits that there are three countries in the EU that, “give me massive, massive headaches”. These are Latvia, Croatia, and Romania.

Vor zwanzig Jahren habe man auf den Seiten der ÖBB und auch der Deutschen Bahn (DB) Verbindungen „sogar bis in die Türkei und Syrien“ anzeigen können. Doch: Dass das jetzt nicht mehr gehe, „daran sind Deutsche Bahn und ÖBB nicht schuld“, so Worth. Denn im Hintergrund bei den Fahrplänen werkt ein System des Internationalen Eisenbahnverbandes (UIC).
Zwar seien alle Staatsbahnen Mitglied dieses Verbandes, so Worth. Doch im Gegensatz zu früher würden die Mitglieder oft keine Daten mehr in das System einpflegen.
