Carney & Trump, DEI still in play and more: Links 1 for April 1, 2025
1. Interestingly, the hacker who leaked the Freedom Convoy donor data from Give Send Go was arrested after charges were filed by the US Attorney’s office.

On Friday, March 28th, the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Texas announced the charges against Canadian left-wing hacktivist and self-proclaimed founder of “Anonymous”, Aubrey Cottle, 37 of Oshawa, Ontario.
The charges are tied to his alleged role in a 2021 cyberattack on the Texas Republican Party.
He was arrested Wednesday by Canadian authorities and faces criminal charges both in Canada and the U.S.
The unsealed complaint in the Western District of Texas accuses Cottle of using illegal means to access a backup of the Texas GOP server containing sensitive personal information.
The stolen data was exposed online, where prosecutors alleged Cottle also took credit openly via social media.
Cottle also claimed responsibility for hacking the Christian donor site GiveSendGo in February of 2022.
2. Mark Carney: CHINA’S MAN: Hong Kong human rights organization files letter with RCMP over Carney’s Chinese candidate
Hong Kong Watch, a prominent human rights organization, has urged the RCMP to investigate Liberal candidate Paul Chiang over remarks the group alleges may constitute foreign interference in Canada’s federal election, set for April 28.
In an open letter to RCMP Commissioner Mike Duheme, dated Monday, the group pointed to comments Chiang reportedly made at a Chinese-language news conference in January.
According to media reports, the Markham-Unionville incumbent encouraged attendees to turn Conservative candidate Joe Tay over to the Chinese consulate in Toronto to claim a $1-million bounty placed on Tay by the People’s Republic of China (PRC).
“To everyone here, you can claim the one million dollar bounty if you bring (Joe Tay) to Toronto’s Chinese Consulate,” Chiang is quoted as saying. He has not denied the statement.
Canadian police have never, as far as I know, pressed charges against a ranking politician. Certainly no convictions or jail. The US is the only nation I am aware of that even approximates rule of law. But Canada certainly doesn’t. We have sanctimony and invented outside threats instead.
3. This article from a Quebec publication is apparently, shaking up the political world in terms of Carney’s curious financials and ties to Trump’s son in law, Jared Kushner. It might even explain why you don’t hear much about him in this administration. We Suggest you click the link and auto translate if you don’t speak French. It is from Le Journal de Montreal.
It also shows Carney’s Kuwaiti connections. Something not being reported in the English media apparently. A sample below:
The firm that’a chaired Mark Carney until his leap into politics in January gave a proud candle to Donald Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, by saving his company from serious financial difficulties. This financial boost is one of the links discovered by our Office of’Investigation between Carney and President Trump’s direct entourage (see other texts). These ties could be assets in the game of Carney S’il was elected prime minister at the end of April.
The’ affair dates back to 2018 when Brookfield signed a 99-year lease to rent the entire’a 41-story tower of the Kushner family in the heart of Manhattan in New York. Total invoice: 1.1 G$ US.
The Canadian company paid the 99 years of rent in one go rather than’annually. This highly unusual gesture ensured a massive and rapid entry of’argent to the company Kushner, which was precisely to repay 1.2 G$ US in mortgage a few months later in February 2019.
Brookfield is a sprawling Canadian’investment firm with interests around the world in infrastructure,’real estate, renewable energy and private equity (see other text).
Marc Carney headed the’ board until 15 January and still holds important financial interests.
But there is a lot more to it in the article linked above.
OTTAWA — The Royal Canadian Mounted Police confirmed late Monday it is actively reviewing the controversy surrounding Liberal MP Paul Chiang’s alleged remarks that appeared to endorse delivering a political rival to a foreign government in exchange for a bounty.
In a statement sent to The Bureau, the RCMP said: “Foreign actor interference, including instances of transnational repression, continues to be a pervasive threat in Canada. The RCMP takes all such reports and allegations seriously and — in close partnership with intelligence, law enforcement and regulatory agencies — dedicates significant resources to combatting and investigating criminal activity related to foreign interference in Canada’s democratic processes.”
“The RCMP is looking into the matter,” the statement continued, “however no specific details can be provided at this time.”
The confirmation followed a day of escalating pressure on Canadian law enforcement after The Bureau revealed that the UK-based human rights organization Hong Kong Watch sent a formal letter to RCMP Commissioner Mike Duheme, calling for a criminal investigation into Chiang’s reported remarks. The comments, made during a January meeting with Chinese-language journalists, suggested that Conservative candidate Joe Tay could be brought to the Chinese Consulate in Toronto to claim a bounty placed on him by the Hong Kong police under Beijing’s National Security Law.
I wonder what ever happened about those three Chinese spies marched out of the level 4 bio lab in Winnipeg for shipping the most dangerous pathogens in the world to the Wuhan lab in China? Oh yeah… Nothing.
5. DEI is still being deployed against every agency that matters in the US. They just call it something else. Like Climate Change will be funded by calling it “Natural Disasters”.
NASA and State Dept employees explain how they’re rebranding DEI and still implementing it just under another name following Trump’s EOs.
.@DOGE should look into this
