Manorville, NY —The Long Island Game Farm is giving one class a chance to win a visit from Nature Nick as part of its new Essay Contest.
Teachers of students grades K through 12 may submit a brief essay written by one of their students or by the entire class on why Nature Nick should come to their school. Essays may be submitted through the Long Island Game Farm’s Facebook page on its Essay Contest tab. The winning essay will be chosen by the Game Farm’s staff. The deadline is March 29.
“Nature Nick’s Animal Adventures” features 10 to 12 animals from all corners of the world, many of them rare and exotic. He has appeared on numerous TV shows, including “The Martha Stewart Show,” “The Wendy Williams Show,” “Petkeeping with Marc Morrone” and “Good Morning America.”
“We urge all teachers to get their students to submit their essays for the chance to see some of the rarest and most exotic animals up close,” said Melinda Novak, Vice President/Co-Owner, Long Island Game Farm. “This is one of the most unique animal experiences these students will ever have in a classroom.
