If there were more men in their families disciplining and teaching their kids the commands, statutes and judgment of God (Deuteronomy 6:1), we wouldn’t be having this problem to the extent we are having it. Yet, here is an example of a US veteran who put the fear of God in one young man after he cussed his mother and disobeyed her command to clean his room.

This is how men deal with rebellious little men and put them in their place.

Remember, in both the Old and New Testaments, God gave a command with promise.

In Exodus 20:12

Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

In Ephesians 6:2-3

Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

If kids don’t learn it while they are young, then will grow into men and women who act like this in the culture and at that point, the Bible has some thing to say about that, as well.

In the Old Testament, in Leviticus 20:9:

For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.

From Jesus’ own mouth in the New Testament in Matthew 15:4:

For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.
