Not a Laughing Matter: Fed Throws Trillions at U.S. and Foreign Banks in Secret … Hides from Congress
The actual number is somewhere between $16 trillion and $23 trillion. Plus there’s trillions more in back-stopping the big banks’ derivatives, another new bailout of foreign banks (in addition to all of the old ones), and all sorts of other types of secret bailouts.
But hey, we should just support the status quo of the Fed doing its thing … shouldn’t we? After all, this is all too complicated for anyone but economists to understand, and economists say it’s necessary, right?

Comedians are funny because they reveal the absurdity in truth. Whether they are liberal or conservative. When you tell the truth about the absurdity of our financial predicament, it is comedy……until it effects you directly.

I love people that get so hung up on liberal conservative. Personally, as far as i can tell, Jon Stewart is one of the only personalities on mainstream media that will talk about a lot of things that i think should be regular talking points. Im conservative. Very conservative. But i love Jon Stewart. He even talked about everyone ignoring Ron Paul. And Ron Paul sure as hell isnt a liberal…
