Medical Device Company Semler Scientific (SMLR) Up Near 5000% Since Idea Contribution

In November 2015 GeoInvesting premium member, Jakewell Parker, published his bullish thesis on Semler Scientific Inc (OTC:SMLR) when the stock was trading at $1.97. Semler Scientific, Inc. develops, manufactures, and markets patented products that assist healthcare providers to evaluate and treat patients with chronic diseases in the United States. 

Then, in April, 2018 we published a brief research note on why we liked the company when the stock was trading at $8.30. Well, last week, the stock traded as high as $103.50 and closed at $98.78, up nearly 5000% from Parker’s report. 

So, we wanted to take a moment to thank all of our GeoInvesting research contributors for their hard work in discovering some awesome ideas that have benefited our community. When we first launched GeoInvesting in 2007, our main goal was to provide top quality microcap research for “Main Street” investors and build trust along the way. We think our work in outing fraud in 14 U.S. listed China-based companies and exposing over 20 U.S. pump and dumps helped achieve this goal and let investors know that we are not just blind “bulls”, even though we are bullish investors at the core. 

Then, in 2015 we began accepting bullish microcap stock research and articles from investors.  Right from the start, we wanted to control the quality of contributor ideas, so we focused heavily on encouraging certain hand-picked GeoInvesting members and investors in our network to publish their bullish microcap stock ideas to our platform. Six years later, we are proud to say that the results have been quite exceptional. We are still compiling the data, but here are some preliminary stats as of February 5, 2021:

• A total of 57 ideas have been submitted from 2015 to through 2020
• The average annual return across all ideas through 2020 has been over 30%
• In 2020, research contributors shared 17 microcap ideas with GeoInvesting. They have generated an average return of over 58.3% to date.
• 70% of all ideas are currently in positive return territory

2021 Is off to a great start, set off by Arham Khan, a regular research contributor to Geo. Arham published his bullish thesis on Envela Corporation (NYSE:ELA) in January which is already up 28.54%. Envela primarily buys and sells jewelry and bullion products to individual consumers, dealers, and institutions in the United States.
