Ximen begins camp construction for exploration program around Kernville Gold Mine in British Columbia
Ximen Mining Corp (CVE:XIM) (FRA:1XMA) (OTCQB:XXMMF) announced that it has started construction of a new temporary exploration camp facility adjacent to its Kenville Mine site, which lies 7 kilometres (km) west of the town of Nelson, in British Columbia.
The Vancouver-based junior precious metals explorer said it is preparing for an exploration program planned for this year on its properties that extend from the Kenville mine to the areas around Ymir and Salmo. The company recently started developing a three-acre parcel of land that lies adjacent to the Kenville mine site as a temporary exploration campsite.
“Facilities are being constructed to support a trailer-based camp for exploration geological and drilling crews,” said the company. Hydropower supply is being set up now and construction of septic facilities will follow, added the firm.

Ximen has been expanding its footprint in the area via several claim groups near Kenville and last June reported that its total land package in the Nelson-Ymir-Salmo area since first acquiring Kenville in early 2019 stood at 19,582 hectares.
The company is looking to advance the Kenville Gold Mine forward and on the path towards production. It has been focused on the acquisition of high-grade gold assets in southern British Columbia, with easy access and good infrastructure.
