The IPO Buzz: Orion180 Insurance (OIG) Prices IPO at $12 – $3 Below Range
Orion180 Insurance Group (OIG) priced its IPO at $12.00 – $3.00 below the bottom of its $15.00-to-$17.00 range in the prospectus – and sold 20 million shares – the number in the prospectus – to raise $240 million on Thursday night, Sept. 17, 2026.
The coastal Florida homeowners insurance company’s stock is set to start trading tomorrow – Friday, Sept. 18 – on the NASDAQ and the NASDAQ Texas exchange.
RBC Capital Markets and UBS Investment Bank were the lead joint book-runners.
Raymond James, Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank Securities, Citizens Capital Markets and Texas Capital Securities also served the joint book-running team.
At pricing, Orion180 Insurance had a market cap of about $1.19 billion.
Orion180 Insurance said it may use some of the IPO’s net proceeds to repay about $282 million in debt.
The Orion180 IPO ran into price sensitivity concerns yesterday. The cautious mood surfaced hours ahead of the Federal Reserve’s decision to raise its benchmark interest rate for the first time since 2023.
Orion180 Insurance Group, based in Melbourne, Florida, offers homeowners insurance, including flood insurance, in coastal areas in 14 southern states. Its key markets include Florida, Texas and California, the prospectus said.
Orion180 Insurance Group is profitable, according to financial statements in the prospectus: Net income of $26.82 million on revenue of $153.14 million for the 12 months that ended on June 30, 2026.
