Moto G Turbo Edition Launched In India
The Lenovo owned tech-giant Motorola has announced a new variant of its famous budget beauty Moto G (3rd Gen). Dubbed with Turbo added to its name, the new avatar of Moto G ships with an improved set of features and fast charging capabilities. As promised, the water and dust repellent phone will be shipping in Black and White colors at a price tag of Rs. 14,499 via Flipkart, starting from Today 12 PM.
Coming towards specs, there are some noticeable upgrades in the latest Moto G, but most of the things are still unchanged. The customizable smartphone features the same 5-inch HD IPS display, and packs a decent setup of a 13-megapixel rear autofocus shooter with LED flash, IR filter, f/2.0 aperture, and a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper with 72 degree wide angle lens. It comes equipped with 16GB of built-in storage, and offers decent performance with expandability up to 32GB via microSD card.
As far as the changes are concerned, the new Moto G Turbo Edition fills the gap between Moto G Gen 3 and Moto X Play by offering a powerful processor and Turbo charging capabilities. The device powers up by an Octa-core Snapdragon 615 SoC clocked at 1.5GHz, and pairs up with 2GB RAM for creating a better and glitch-free ecosystem for gamers and performance lovers. It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out-of-the box, and will possibly will upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow as well.
Moto G Turbo features the same set of sensors with water and dust resistance. The device houses a decently impressive 2,470 mAh battery that can give sufficient juice for entire day, but the best part of is, it supports Motorola Turbo Power fast charging as well. According the company, with fast charging capabilities from the 15W Turbo charger, Moto G Turbo can give up to 6 hours of juice on just a 15 minute charge. It offers enormous power for work and play, and can cater standard requirements with a subtle touch of perfection!
