Oppo F1s Now available in India

After a long wait, Oppo has released its latest selfie expert in the Indian market. The ever-evolving smartphone giant has introduced Oppo F1s in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata and eight other cities starting today. The device will be available at Rs. 17,990 via official as well as third party outlets in these cities.

Oppo F1s ships with a strong set of specs but its key highlight is the superb 16-megapixel front-facing snapper. It captures detailed selfies in low-light and gets even better with advanced beautification capabilities courtesy of Beautify 4.0. The improved technology captures vivid shots with striking features and includes seven beautify levels, two skin modes and improved image processing algorithms.

The main camera incorporates a 13-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 and PDAF, and is at par with most players in this price bracket. It might fail in dark conditions, but can easily deliver picture-perfect shots outdoors.

Under the hood, Oppo F1s deploys an octa-core Mediatek MT6750 processor with 3 gigabytes of RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage. The handset sports a 5.5-inch high-definition display with Gorilla Glass 4 and holds sufficient power for flawless work and play. It also includes a dedicated microSD slot for storage expansion up to a whopping 256GB.

Oppo F1s will be snappier, faster and smoother than its predecessor. The device will incorporate advanced connectivity features and will include an industry leading fingerprint scanner that responds in just 0.22s. It is touted to be an upgrade over standard biometric scanners that we’ve already seen on numerous phones.

Oppo F1s Hardware:

Oppo has been backing its hardware with Color OS and its features. Even this year, the company has tweaked its custom skin. It still runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop, but if you’re looking for some nifty customizations, there’s a lot to try in there.

This handset certainly makes an exemplary package for selfie-fanatics. It fits perfectly in the low-to-mid-end smartphone segment and performs really well with its long-lasting 3,075 mAh battery. The numbers might not impress many, but with an HD display and effective app optimization, you can easily expect 15 hours of juice from this beauty.

Oppo is rising on the charts with its Selfie-Expert series. The company still falls short against the likes of Samsung and Apple but its effective marketing and promotion methods have heated things quite a bit.

The first sale of Oppo F1s will be witnessed by some of Bollywood’s famous celebrity faces. On August 13, Indian actress and model Huma Qureshi will attend the Bangalore launch, while on the same day, Neha Sharma will attend the first sale in Delhi. Leading models Gizelle Thakral and Kainaat Arora will also inaugurate the sale in Ghaziabad on August 11.

The Chinese giant also plans to launch a new campaign “Review Selfie Expert OPPOF1s to win” to bring all the selfies experience at one place.  With the object to engage with OPPO F1s buyers and create a buzz for the new product, this campaign will be live from 11th Aug to 9th September. Five lucky winners will also get a chance for a Selfie Photoshoot by renowned Photographer, Dabboo Ratnani.
