Best day yet for Silver and Gold (Day 4 of the rally)

The FOMC data came out yesterday with the claim that they too were worried about the rise in the US Dollar,  this jawboning is the way Japan would talk down its currency rallies of the past.   Now the Dollar is trading at 85.20,  down 20.7 points after yesterday’s 37 points drop and after reaching a low so far today at 85.015.   Treasuries remain elevated and have received more buy orders causing interest rates to go lower as the currencies battles heat up again.   The Dollar will most likely stay with us,  but the Euro-Currency,  the Japanese Yen,  and the Argentinian Peso,  are a few currencies that may not make it past 2015.

The Energy sector continues to fall apart with Crude Oil falling another $1.50 in yesterday’s trade and is trading slightly lower in the early morning with the current price now at $87.30,  down 1 cent with the rest of the sector following in unison.   ISIS seems to be taking over the Middle East at the same time the US is being pushed out proving once again Blow Back is something that beyond our current and past administrations understanding. It’s too bad that the Republican Party screwed us out of getting Ron Paul, the world would have changed for the better by now.

Gold is doing just fine as the 4^th day rally this week brings the price up to $1,229.70,  up $23.70 with a high so far at $1,230.80.   2% to be exact and the price will most likely stay right where it’s at because this is the unwritten limit up in Gold.   If we’re to break this rule today,  it could spell wonderful movements in the near future.   Open Interest fell a bit more as the shorts exit with yesterday’s OI falling 1,055 contracts leaving 380,087,  very low numbers for the noble metal.   Silver seems to be leading the rally this morning with its trade now at $17.625,  up 56.1 cents with a high so far at $17.72 as its OI added 772 contracts to total 171,283,  still close to the multi-year highs.   This sector has a long ways to go before these (Silver) longs decide they’ve made enough to leave the market and with the low Open Interest in Gold,  this could lead to the most powerful upward thrust in years.

Bitcoin is gaining momentum with its trade at $365,  up $21.40 from yesterday’s quote and inside a 24 hour trading range between $370 and $322.   Word came out yesterday that the Argentinians are buying up the Crypto because its more stable than their Peso.   The idea of stability between a fiat and a Crypto will eventually lead to others,  who suffer from the same dilemma,  to do the same.   Take for instance Japan and Europe.   Cypress was the main cause for Bitcoin to rally to $1,233.   So when the Japanese catch onto the Crypto,  it could push the Anti-Fiat to heights not yet seen.   Ripple Coin remains steadfast with its trade at $0.004976 but seems to have replaced Litecoin as far as Market Cap numbers are concerned.   This makes our Crypto-Currency suggestion second place to Bitcoin.   It shouldn’t take much longer before the Crypto starts to gain real value as people start to understand that these Currencies are safer to transact business with than paper money,  especially as the spread of Ebola seems to be expanding everywhere.

Grains are mixed and confused with Corn and Wheat trading lower,  Soy Beans and it’s byproducts are trading higher,  Softs are mostly higher with Cotton the only exception,  and the Live Stock Sector remains elevated with the Red Meats leading the rally pushing Hogs higher as well.   The Paper Markets did their usual yesterday,  especially after the FOMC data came out.   The “close your eyes and buy on the dips” move is still the only thing making people any money and will one day fail miserably for those that continue to play that way.   But for now,  the Papers are showing some weakness with the Dow taking the biggest drop so far.

It seems the Ebola virus is airborne regardless of the political machine that continues to lag reality.   We read an article from the CDC months ago about a test it did with one Ebola infected animal placed in a room with clean animals.   The cages were separated with 3’ of clearance and all the animals became infected.   This spells airborne to us and we’ve taken precautions as best we can by taking large dosages of vitamin C using Ascorbic Acid and making our own concoction.
